I'm Back!

hey kix! glad your trip was uneventful. my return from denver to indiana was a real treat -- flying northwest - not a good weekend for that! but i made it eventually.

Deb, I'm still sad we didn't get to the Cherry Cricket, but you have a standing, non-expiring, rain check the next time you find yourself in Denver! Speaking of rain, our neighbors told us that there was quite a rain storm while we were gone.  Did you get caught in that?  Sorry to hear you were on Northwest, did they manage to find a pilot willing to fly the plane, or did the stewardess have to take over?  Kix

oh yes, there was quite a storm! major thunder, lightning and rain...i stood outside the hotel and watched the lightning show for awhile. northwest cancelled my flight altogether. got moved over to american...had the thrill of going thru o'hare...something i always try to avoid! but i made it! (i've never experienced anything like the security line at denver's airport, though!) next time i get to denver, i'll be contacting you! deb

Hi, Lynn! Thanks for missing me.  Do get that spot checked out, the dermatologist can tell you in about two seconds if it's something serious, and if they need to lop off a bit for a test, it only takes another two seconds.  It took me longer to park and walk to the office than the actual visit.  Kix
