Gym Is Open (Tuesday)

Had an early meeting, so couldn't go to the gym this morning.  I plan on walking to and from my WW meeting at lunch which is 1.5 miles and I have my gym clothes in the car to go to the gym right after work where I plan on 40 mins cardio and 30 min lower body strength training and abs. What did you do to move your body today? Lori

Hi, Lori!  I was planning to go the gym at lunch, but it's so nice outside I decided to run errands instead - have to enjoy the sunshine while it lasts in Cleveland!  I'll go to the gym after work for 50-60 minutes on the elliptical trainer.   Thanks for keeping the gym open Kellie

Hi Lori! It is so good to be home after being on the road for most of the month.  I'm back at my local pool for water aerobics.  I'm in training now to be an instructor, and worked my first class in training last night. This morning, I did my 1 hour class.  I'm planning on going tonight, and then bowling for 2 hours after that. With my weight loss, and physical training, over the past 4 weeks, I've been hiking, tide pool exploring, sailing, climbing in and out of dingy's by climbing down the ladder at the side of the boat, and back up, lots of walking!  I wouldn't have done any of these things before, especially hiking up to the tops of water falls on the Colombia River Gorge!  NO WAY, but it was so enjoyable, and wasn't even that hard physically since I've been working out all these months.  It's so nice to be able to enjoy life!

Hi Lori, I sat in the sauna for 15 minutes then did 32 minutes on the treadmill. I also did 100 crunches and a couple of leg machines. I got back in the sauna for 10 more minutes. (((hugs))) Diana

Hi Lori, I think I am working out a lot harder than pre-preggo. I really work up a sweat now a days. I soooo want to get back in my 12's. I look at my old pics and feel so huge now. My body is shaped different since having my baby. I got them child bearing hips. LOL Diana

Today was weights day, so i did 17 minutes on the elliptical then spent 30 minutes on upper and lower body. I'm really enjoying mixing up my routine this way.

PJ, That is why I do periodic workouts with a trainer to give me new stuff.  It has been awhile, so it is time for me to call one again. Lori
