Gym Is Open (thursday)
I had a crappy workout today, Lori. I felt overtired and the gym seemed extra warm to me today. Not sure if I didn't allow enough recovery time after yesterday's workouts (weights at lunch, cardio after work), or if I'm just tired because I'm having my period. Regardless of the cause, I did 35 minutes on the elliptical trainer, then called it quits. I was as hot and sweaty as if I had been working out for an hour!
Hopefully tomorrow will be better - I'm planning to work out at the end of the day, so should hopefully have plenty of recovery time to replenish energy stores.

Today is weights day, so I did 20 minutes of warm up on the treadmill then about 30 minutes of lower and upper weights. I'm starting to see a difference in my legs - they are much stronger and muscular.
Tomorrow I am heading back up to where I hiked last week, but didn't finish the trail. It's a nine-mile trail, so i think I'll be pretty tired. I plan on getting there really early to miss the afternoon storms - can't wait to say I made it all the way!
I'm becoming such a hiking freak
