I've got 2 days worth of meetings.  Decided to get in here early and get my post done. I did 40 min of fast track walking at the gym, 10 min of abs, 10 mins of stretching. What did you do to move your body today? Lori

I'm going to take it pretty easy today - maybe walk a little if its not raining, if I manage to stand up straight, but that's it!   We have a feral kitten showing up and meowing on our patio.  The first day I tried to ignore it, but it came back the next night and last night so we fed it.  I think it ate its body weight in dry food both nights!  Its in pretty bad shape so I think we are going to trap it and take it to the vet.  I cannot have another cat, but I hope to tame it (still very young so it shouldn't be too hard) and adopt it out ASAP.  I need to find a soft-hearted person (fool) at my husband's job to foist it off on because I think every friend I have has already adopted a stray from me.  I swear, animals sense that I am a sucker.

Good for you for taking it easy, it's amazing the muscles we use when we do things around the house. I did some weeding at my parents place a few weeks ago and the back of my legs were sore for days! That's when I started to do weights again, thought I needed them Good luck with the cat - I would say send it to me but I'm allergic. It's funny, cats seem to sense my reluctance to get near them because I have had friends who have the most unfriendly cats in the world, never get close to anyone, then I come along. And they will never leave me alone! They seem to take is as a challenge. But all I need is to get just a couple of cat hairs on me and I can't breathe. It's too bad, I wouldn't mind having a pet. (I'm the same way with dogs, just not as severe)

I think cats purposely bother people who don't like cats or are allergic.  Mine are the same way - a person wants to pet them doesn't stand a chance but if a guest is afraid or allergic or anything they are all over the person.

I'm a sucker for pets too.  I have 9 cats.

Wow!  Are they all inside?   We have 3 black cats (only allowed two at the apartment but we figure they won't be able to tell how many if they all look the same)  Most ever was five - took two adults because the people upstairs moved out and abadoned their cats.  It was sad, the two cats curled up in front of that apartment door every day for two weeks so we took them in and eventually found them a home together but the 6 months or so that we had all five cats drove me nuts!  Nice to meet a fellow sucker  So many people are so horrible to pets, especially cats.

I'm getting back to doing weights, so I concentrated on that today. I took it easy on the treadmill, just did 20 minutes to warm up my muscles. Then did about 30 minutes of weight work, both upper and lower body. I have a big hike planned tomorrow so I didn't want to pu**** too much today - I did just enough to work out my muscles. Tonight I am going to a Salsa Dance class, so that will be some good exercise! And lots of fun - I'm excited to learn! (and shake my newly thin hips )

I lifted weights for upper and lower body at lunch today.  I'm going out of town tomorrow, so that's it for me today.  Hope to get in a couple long walks this weekend while I'm away.   Kellie
