Gym Is Open (Wednesday)

Hi guys,  I'm in meetings today and the next 2, so if I don't get the gym opened early enough for you, please go ahead and do so! I went to the gym and did 40 minutes on the track walking fast, then I did 15 min lower body strength and 10 mins stretching. What did you do to move your body today? Lori

Hi Lori,  I have been really busy too havent had much time to log on and report. Next week I will be in Mexico so i won't be updating at all but i will be doing a lot of walking. So tonight I will be doing 1 hour on the elliptical and some weight training. Talk to ya soon.  Lorraine

Hi Lori, I could only stay at the gym 30 minutes...had a crazy day. I did 21 minutes on the elliptical trainer and 9 minutes on the treadmill.  My mom was supposed to have surgery this morning. The nurse came in her room at 2:30 and said they were going to have to wait till tomorrow. They had some emergency surgeries that came up. Grrr. She hadn't eaten all day for this. Mom fell and has been in the hospital for 5 weeks and has already had two surgeries. She got a bad infection. Please keep her in your prayers. (((hugs)))) Diana

I've been doing a new training program to get ready for my big hike in august. So, today I did interval training and it completely wiped me out! I did my typical 27 minutes on elliptical, 20 minutes on treadmill and 15 on bike, but I did different intensity's and varied my heart rate. I was exhausted afterwards, so I think this might be the kick in the pants I need to get motivated - I actually had fun today, it definitely kept me from getting bored! Now, let's just hope it helps me climb that mountain!

I spent about 3 hours outside working on my patio garden, I repotted a bunch of plants and washed the whole thing down.  Its still raining almost every day in San Antonio, miss the sun!

 Oh my goodness, I seriously over did it yesterday.  I can barely move today, I am so sore!  I am hobbling around like I'm 80.  I am really not even sure how some of these muscles were even used!!!
