One week till my 1 year surgiversary

Next Tuesday will mark one year since surgery. I had set a goal for myself to loose 175 pounds before the 17th, and I reached that a few weeks ago. The weight is much slower in coming off these days but  this morning I got quite a shock, I'm now down 180 pounds!  I actually had to get off the scale and then step back on to make sure it was right. Who would have ever thought it possible? Loose 180 pounds in a year?  No way, but it is possible and it happened to me!

Congrats Jandell... I know it is so amazing what is possible with this tool we've been given.  I have been having problems with the snack monster lately..I really must get it undercontrol. Reading all the posts help...Have a great one year check up I am sure your doctor will be sooo proud of you. Lynn

Thanks so much everyone! Ya know Marge, I just need to say that I don't look at this as a program or a diet, it's my life now.  It still amazes me at the choices I now make. Where did this healthy eating all come from, and what makes me WANT to eat this way?  I have no clue other than the fact I knew the day I was approved was the day I made up my mind to succeed.

Jan this is really NEAT you must be so proud. this surgery is a miracle for those of that needed it which must be all of us.
