Gym Is Open (Monday)

I needed to just do cardio today, felt kinda cranky and had to get a new attitude.  It worked!!! I did 30 min on the treadmill on the random setting for elevations and 20 min on the recumbant bike. What did you do to move your body today? Lori

I had great fun at the Arts Festival yesterday, and the walking wasn't too bad until we were nearly finished seeing everything.  My stamina is fine, but my knees get sore after a bit, so I have to stop briefly and rest them.  I worry that knee replacements might be something in the far distant future.  Synvisc isn't an option because I'm allergic to egg yolk.  Today, I went to the rec center and did 30 minutes of in-line skating machine (I love it!  I'd stay on it all day if I was able), 20 minutes of armbike (10 forward, 10 reverse), and weight machines (10 reps each @ 30 lbs).  I even did a couple of the leg machines, which means I will probably be pretzel shaped tomorrow.  The weather is a bit cooler this week, yay! HELP LORI!!!!!!!!!! I am addicted to exercise!!!!!!!! I really can't believe it but I love working out, I love the way it makes me feel and sleep. I love the way the sweat soaks my clothing when I am just about finished. I worked out Saturday and Sunday, I think I went overboard on Sunday. Today i will be going to the gym again can't help it i have to go. 35min on elliptical, 35 min on recumbant bike, 35 min on treadmill, after that i will be home bound. I only wish the scale would move but the inches are falling off fast.  Glad your foot isn't bothering you anymore. Have a great day.  Lorraine

Hi, Lori!  I totally understand about a good workout resetting your attitude!  I didn't used to get it, but now I live it and really understand what people are talking about.   Today's a 2-a-day for me.  I lifted weights for upper and lower body at lunch.  I'll head back to the gym for 60 minutes of cardio after work.  Think I'll try 40 minutes on the elliptical trainer and 20 minutes on the stairmaster...   Kellie

Hi Lori, I sat in the sauna for 15 minutes...talk about sweating. I did 30 minutes on the treadmill, 10 on the bike and 12 on the elliptical trainer.
