Found!

I checked the rec center's lost and found desk today and my ring was there!  Hooray!  I'm so grateful that an honest person found it and actually turned it in rather than keeping it for him/herself.  I'm not wearing it, it went right into the ring box, where it will stay until I get it resized.  I don't want to tempt fate twice. Thats great news Kix... I had to have my wedding ring finally resized, I was wearing this plastic thingy to keep it on, but it was starting to slip off even with that thing. I went from a size 7.5 to 4.5. The jeweler was like WOW how much weight did you lose!!! I don't like telling strangers, so I just said ALOT. I always had small hands even when I was SMO... anyway keep it safe until you get it resized. Lynn

4.5?  Good gracious, I will never have hands that small and I'm 5' tall!  I wear a size 9.5 wedding ring and its starting to get a little loose.  I will definitely have it resized repeatedly as I lose weight - no way I want to lose it. I'm so glad you found it Kix!   Thank goodness there are still good people.

I am glad you found your ring. Hugs..... wrap a piece of yarn around it,  I seen girls do their boyfriends  class rings that way in high school. I  did it to my wedding ring for awhile untill I decided it was time to get it sized. I can see and feel my knuckles and it has to go over them so I figured  I have went from a eight to a six. And if it wasnt for my knucles I could probable go to a five.  good luck.....

So glad you got your ring back Kix!!! It is so great to know that there still are honest people in this world.  Today I dropped my brand new phone in the parking lot of Walmart..a guy stopped me and let me know that I dropped it.   I'm such an air-head.  Yep there are good folks out there. That's great news! Good idea to put it away for now - those hands might just get skinnier in the next few months!

A good jewler can put in a gold (or white gold) sizer that works much better than the plastic stuff.  I think I paid less than $10 for it and to have it put in.  I wore my ring like that until I had it resized.  (from a 6 to a 4 1/2).
