Gym Is Open (Friday)

Well, I went to the chirpractor and had him move my body for me . It really was a great workout though because he's so darn handsome it gets my heart racing just being around him. I can't wait for the day I really start exercising. I so hate the discomfort. Can someone send me some motivation? -J
Practice safe eating - always use condiments.

J, After you do your surgery and start feeling good, exercise will be a whole new experience for you!  Believe me!!!  Lori P.S.  I had the cutest guy who did my PT on my tennis elbow...I loved him rubbing my arm!

I reached a personal goal today and did 1 hour of exercise -- 30 minutes on the in-line skating machine and 30 minutes (15 forward, 15 reverse) on the armbike.  Woohoo! I have fallen out of love with Hot Wheelchair Dude.  I overheard a conversation he had with another gym rat and it's obvious our politics are on opposite ends of the spectrum.    I guess I can still gaze at him with hot lust, though. Kix, 1 hour!!!  Fantastic!!! One of the women I exercise with is on the opposite end of the political spectrum from me.  It can be a bit tense at times! I plan on seeing Michael Moore's "Sicko" this weekend. Lori

Hi Lori! I went to the pool and to my surprise several of my friends who I had been trying to recruit were there!  So, I did my 1 hr of water aerobics, and I'm pleased because after 2 weeks of being "stuck" at 259-261, the scale finally moved and went back down!  YAY Busy day today, lots of meetings and such.

Hey there Lori,  Still moving along. I had a good walk yesterday at work so only did 50 min but boy did I sweat. Today I am thinking about taking a walk around my neighborhood but I know I will end up in the gym for an hour 1/2. Have a great weekend.  Lorraine

This is only my second day at the gym this week so I tried to make it a good one. 30 min. treadmill 50 min. Precor elliptical 10 min. treadmill 10 min. CYbex elliptical-type machine WT on back, abs and triceps

I went for a hike today, a 7 mile one! It was a good workout but the best part was I got to hike with the cutest guy (that seems to be the topic today ) There's a midway point on the hike with a picnic table and shelter and as I was coming down there was someone in there, and wow, was he gorgeous! I sat at the table with him for a while and then we ended up hiking the rest of the way down together. He wasn't just cute but funny and smart. Found out we are going to the same school for our Master's. Did I mention he was gorgeous? I had fun just looking at him. We didn't exchange numbers but I had fun with him - and I didn't fart, so that was a good thing! Now, I just have to figure out where his classes met and I can conveniently show up in the same building at the same time
