Me, at a water park!

I'm in Williamsburg, VA on vacation.  Having a great time and just popped in to say hi!  I've spent lots of time at Colonial Williamsburg, yesterday at Busch Gardens riding roller coasters, and today a****er Country (gian****er park).  I've never been to a water park before - me, in public in a swimsuit, and dang it, not a soul was staring.  It was delightful, and freeing, and a great reminder of just what a blessing this surgery has been for me.   Anyway, just wanted to share my moment with you all.  Hope you're having great weeks and I look forward to reading this weeks' posts when I get home on Saturday! That is so awesome..It is so amazing all the things we are able to do now. I just love vacations now.. use to just stay home on my time off.  I think I am ready for the roller coaster...just gotta get my DH to take me. Would love to be able to go to a waterpark, but for me that will never happen unless I get major plastics... Glad you are having a great time. Lynn

Very cool Kellie!  I know how hard it was for me to go to my firs****er aerobics class and apper in public in a bathing suit -- now I don't even think of it even though I still have quite a way to goal.   Isn't it wonderful to feel normal??

Good for you Kellie!!!  I love being normal.  I'm no swimsuit model and never will be, but, at least I'm out there living life!

Kellie, it sounds like you're having a great time.  Careful on tha****er slide, though -- you can fly down those suckers so fast you end up with an atomic wedgie!  We'd hate to hear you had to have your bathing suit surgically extracted from your backside!  My sibling wants to visit Colonial Williamsburg, but I'm not too keen on the idea.  Was it worth visiting? I did get a couple good wedgies, but luckily I landed in enough water that I could put things back in the right location before my booty exited the water!  After a couple times, I learned to keep my butt a little higher in those tubes!   I enjoyed the Colonial Williamsburg area, but I really like history.  So I found the reenactment stuff fascinating, and I enjoyed the exhibits.  I would NOT suggest visiting Williamsburg at this time of year - it was over 100 degrees a couple days and the humidity was very high.  So it was like walking around in an oven.  I'm sure if I'd stayed there much longer I would have been medium rare...   There are also lots of places to shop at Colonial Williamsburg, plus outlet malls if you're a shopper (mostly not my thing, but I enjoyed the shops at Colonial Williamsburg.  especially the high-end jewelry store.  couldn't afford a darn thing there, but i did try on a $121,000 6-carat diamond ring.  that was pretty cool!.)   I'm already planning to go back in a couple years, with a view towards spending almost my entire visit at Colonial Williamsburg.  It's big (400+ buildings, 88 of which are original structures), so there's lots to do.  You can get a lot of information at http://www.colonialwilliamsburg.com/ Kellie
