WOW moment for me!

Yesterday, I was at Sam's Club, and noticed that they had Speedo ladies swimsuits. I need some new suits BADLY! The ones I use for water aerobics are getting "thread bare" in places. The chlorine in the pool is REALLY hard on swimsuits. I'm thinking in the back of my head, while looking at the suits that someday, I'll be able to get one at Sam's for $21 instead of paying LOTS more at Catherines or Avenue. As I keep looking, I pick up the 18 and hold it up in front of me and ask my husband if he thinks it might fit. He says yes! I decide to toss it in my cart and will try it on at home. Well, the 18 does fit, and it is even a bit big - next time, I'll get a 16. This is an "off the shelf" with no W in the size - just a plain 18 and it fit ME! I cannot even tell you when the last time I bought something that wasn't in the "special" department! I am pretty dog gone pumped up over this! Also, last night at church, I noticed that I wasn't "hanging over" my seat. Normally, I sit on the aisle side of the row so that my hip/butt can hang over into the aisle so that I won't hang over so much into my husbands seat. Last night, my butt was on my chair, and my chair alone! No hanging over into the aisle, and no hanging over into the next seat -- just one butt and one chair! This is HUGE for me! I'm feeling more and more normal in size - even though I'm still plenty overweight. The comments I'm getting from people are also very amazing. More and more people are just not realizing that I am ME. I'm not recognized anymore, and I definately don't "stand out" anymore as I walk through a crowd. This morning, I'm really, really just to thankful and amazed and the changes in just 4 1/2 months!

Congratulations Jennie!! Those are awsome WOW moments!

I'll never forget in March when I bought something at Costco and thought maybe this will fit this summer ... I got home and it fit right then! It's a great feeling. I think my favorite moment, (or saddest possibly?) will be the day I cut up my Catherine's and Avenue credit cards!

Thanks Jan! I still use my Avenue card, but haven't gotten anything at Catherines for sometime - except the last swimsuit. I almost don't know how shop at other stores because I haven't in such a long time. My daughters gave me Old Navy cards for my birthday, so I will have to check them out. I did buy 2 hoodies there cause I cannot stay warm and now have to carry a jacket with me everywhere.
