Hi Guys, Sorry for the late post, been running around to meetings all day.  I had to get my annual big blood draw for my surgeon.  I don't know if she added more stuff to the list of things to check me for or not, they took 15 total viles of blood!  Wow.  They had to poke me in both arms to get enough.  I'm expecting a clean bill of health though. Today, I did 35 minutes on the elliptical and 10 minutes on the track 10 min of lower body strength training and 10 minuts stretching. What did you do to move your body today? Lori

Hi Lori - I went to 1 hour of aquafit this morning - I managed to take my friend with me.  My son wants to try the pool/gym at the Y so he is going tomorrow with me.  I plan to go again for another hour tonight.  I will have my interview next week to be hired as an instructor.

I went to the rec center and did 10 minutes of treadmill, 20 minutes of armbike, and assorted weight machines, 10 reps @ 10 lbs.  I think I'm supposed to do the weight machines only three days a week, so I won't do the weight machines again until Monday. I took the dogs for a brief walk in the park today.  I think I didn't stay hydrated enough, as I have a leg cramp tonight.  It's always something, it seems! Kix

I did 30 min on the recumbent bike, parked extremely far from the entrance at school (and got to walk uphill - was pretty sure I wouldn't make it and had to stop half way- maybe not a good idea to park there yet).  I've been working 12 hour days at the computer so I've started setting an alarm for every 1.5 hours so I get up and walk around the halls (the building is shaped like a rectangular donut so two donut laps takes about 15 minutes).  The breaks have helped a lot with feet swelling etc and its good because I will easily sit there working for hours without moving if I don'****ch out.  I get too focused sometimes.  Its good though if it makes me stop thinking about food. Just two more days before the dreaded father-in-law visit.  Our apartment looks like it belongs to someone else.  Our cats are thrilled with all the clear floors - they are used to having to avoid piles of laundry or papers or just random junk.  Now they are running as fast as they can across the entire apartment, flipping out.  Its fun to watch.  Earlier all three were laying on their backs with their legs stretched out like they were dead - right in a row.  I tried to get a camera but when I got close they moved.  I wish I got so excited about little things - but then little piles of laundry probably look a lot more daunting if you are 1 foot tall!  Have a great weekend everyone!  Not sure what exercise I'll get done because I am trying desperately to finish a project by tomorrow. Adios!

Ha Ha - too funny.  I need "inspiration" like that too to get my home in tip top shape.  Hey, I count all that cleaning as exercise!!! Yesterday I walked in the neighborhood for 35 minutes and then again after work (and boy was that hard to do on a Friday) for 35 minutes. Have a great weekend everyone and everyone is doing so well moving their bodies!!!
