Just My Luck!

Boy, has this day gotten off to a bad start!  It started at 4 AM when my sibling came in and shook me awake, telling me to wake up, the alarm clock went off.  I take Keflex four times a day, and one dose is at 4 AM.  What usually happens is that the alarm rings, I open one eye, take the Keflex, and plop back to sleep.  I guess I didn't hear the alarm this morning, so she took it upon herself to make sure I was nice and awake.     I was able to sort of go back to sleep, but by 8 AM, I decided to get up and start my day.  I was tired and cross, so instead of taking a shower and then going to the rec center, I decided to just wear what I wore yesterday and head on over for a quick workout.  I had a major case of bed hair, and pretty much resembled the Crypt Keeper's older, fatter sister.  Oh, and did I mention, I'm pretty sure I had B.O., too. I get to the rec center, put on my workout shoes, and break one of the leather grommets that hold the shoelace in place.    Fortunately, it's not a big deal and it doesn't really affect wearing the shoes, so I go into the cardio room to commence working out. Well, to my utter horror, Hot Wheelchair Dude was there today, working on the armbike.  There was no way for me to avoid him if I wanted to work out, so I decided just to go ahead.  I did my workout, and had about five minutes left when he finished his workout.  I tried to strike up a conversation, and while he was polite, I could tell he wasn't too interested in chatting with me. I guess I can't blame him, if I was being chatted up by someone with B.O. who looked like the Crypt Keeper's older, fatter sister, I'd probably run in the other direction, wheelchair or not!  I hope this day gets better!  I'm going to shower, and then take the dogs to the park for some R&R. Kix
