Gym is Open (Tuesday)

It's another day!  I'm off for a quick workout at the rec center.  I don't know if I'll do both armbike and treadmill this morning, maybe I'll just do armbike and then do both later when I go again with my sibling. What did you do (or plan to do) to move your body today? Kix

Good morning! I walked/jogged for an hour this morning and did a little ab work on the resistance ball. I also will go to the gym and do 30 minutes on the elliptical and 30 minutes of circuit training. I might walk or bike ride tonight! Nicole

Hi Kix, I went to water aerobics this morning for my 1 hr class,  I hope that I am able to make it back tonight.  My cast comes off tomorrow, and my hand gets another x-ray.  I hope the cast can stay off, but I'm not betting on it.  Thanks again for the cast cover info - it has been a lifesaver to me.

You're very welcome, but I can't take credit for the info.  When I was getting PICC lines every couple of months last year, I happened to mention to my VNA nurse that it was boring having to wrap my arm in plastic bags to shower.  She told me about the cast covers and PICC line covers.  I checked them out, and was too cheap to buy one.  I decided it wasn't such a pain wrapping my arm in plastic bags every day after all, especially since my HMO pharmacy gave me the bags for free.  Cheapskate Kix

I guess I just decided that the $35 was worth being able to still swim.  If it was just showering, I probably wouldn't have done it. I didn't make it back tonight, but instead bowled 3 games. 

I've been lax exercising lately, but this morning I walked for 30 min and this weekend I shampooed all of my carpets.  My apartment is so clean that each time I walk in, I wonder if I opened the door to someone else's place.    Now if I could just keep it that way..

Oh, my Lord, Dunny, shampooing the carpets?  You sound like my sibing, who is leaving for an Alaskan cruise in a week and a half and thinks she needs to shampoo the rugs for the dog sitter who will stay here at night (I think the sitter is more for me than the dogs, but my sibling won't actually come out and say it ) Are you sure you don't want to come to Colorado?  I suppose we could squeeze in a bit of sightseeing in between all the housework and rug shampooing!  Kix

LOL - I just figure that if I am cleaning everything thoroughly I should shampoo the carpet too.  Carpet is sooo nasty yuck.  It doesn't help to have three cats that cough up hairballs and whatever else on the carpet.  I'd love to come to Colorado, I'll be there next week while my father-in-law is here!!!
