Good Morning Everyone, I want to join in on the monday weigh in.  Today is my first day back to work since surgery.  We have a nice scale here,, so this is the one I'll use every monday.  It feels great to be back to work too.  They gave me a huge card,,, and a $100 Macy's gift certificate.  Very nice of my co-workers. Good Morning All, This weekend was very busy and very beautiful as well.  Spent most of the weekend working in the yard, putting the finishing touches.  Had to put intopsoil, plant the flowers, put in mulch, so I got a lot of exercising lifting the big bags.  I have upped my protein and fluids and it really shows.  The scale finally moved!  I am down another 4 pounds!  Yeah.  This is for all your advice last week - thank you all! Beginning weight - 315 Surgery weight - 309 Last week (and the last 3 weeks) - 259  This week - 255 (YEAH!) V

Thanks Nanette, and CONGRATS!!! That is a hilarious story about the scale, I never even thought about doing that. Only 6 more pounds and I just might do the same thing!!! (You should of taken a picture of your dog too!) My goal is 180 too - actually they said my goal was between 160-200, but 180 has always been where I want to be. The last time i was 180 I was a size 10 - I think I would be happy with that!

Good Morning,       It was hot here in Florida too! I am struggling to find a balance between exercise and calories in. I get in my protein and water but I end of feeling so tired sometimes I don't know if I am getting enough calories. I did do a momentous thing this weekend. on Sunday morning I ran for thirty minutes non-stop! I never thought I would be able to do that let alone enjoy it! Running was a foreign word to me but now I enjoy sweating! I still have about 20 pounds to lose and it has definitely slowed. I really want to explore getting some type of surgery to remove my excess skin around my tummy and thighs. Starting...422 Current....195 Have an excellent week!

Hi, everyone! I had a nice weekend here in Colorado.  Saturday was grooming day -- my sibling, the two dogs, and I all went to our various hair appointments.  We are one tidy looking family now. My sister needed stuff for her Alaskan cruise, so we went up to Flatiron Crossing (a mall near Boulder).  Walking on the cobblestone floors was harder than I thought, and I was discouraged at having to stop and rest several times during our shopping trip.  On the other hand, it was my first time in a mall in over ten years. We drove up to Dillon (in the high country near some of the ski resorts) and spent the day at Lake Dillon.  It is glorious up there, and after seeing it, I want to move there to one of those condos next to the lake, but I see it's way out of my price range!  Since my lotto tickets were all losers on Saturday night, it looks like no move for me.    My sister reminded me that I'd probably hate it in the winter, anyway, with all the snow. I can't decide if my weight loss is slowing down now that I'm smaller, or if I'm getting ready to have a plateau.  I hope it isn't stopping already, it hasn't even been a year.
