BMI finally below 40 and weight coming off again...
I started my WLS journey at 410 pounds and with a BMI of 64.2. I have looked more at the BMI numbers over these months than at the weight I still needed to lose.... I just stick to the program and do what I'm told. And, as of yesterday, my BMI is finally below 40! I hit 39.8 (254 pounds) yesterday and was elated to finally see that!
And, for whatever reason, my weight loss stall seems to finally have ended completely as I'm losing weight again! I lost practically nothing in Feb and March. In April, I think I lost 5 or 6 pounds and May was 6. After losing what I'd already lost, even that felt like a standstill. Now, over the last week, I've lost 9 pounds and am continuing to see about a pound per day come off the scale... I don't know what got it going again. Perhaps my body was done shifting and compacting and just ready to lose some more?? What do you guys think????

I think Congratulations! I don't know anything about stalls etc, but if you've been exercising you might have added muscle, which weighs more than fat. Maybe you were still losing inches? All the best, Jenn
That is the weird part. Since softball season started, I've done way too much running after kids for practice/games/etc and have not exercised much at all other than the walking I get in at the ball park and while shopping and such. Heck, I've not even mowed the grass in almost 2 weeks now. I hadn't even realized that till just now too. We've had NO rain till just about 2 days ago and the grass had quit growing... Then, also, throw in having a child graduate from high school with out of town family in for that and then finishing the year with the younger child and getting next year's classes scheduled.... Stressful, but not exercising. I have been eating right and I have been getting in my protein and fluids, but that is about all that I had going for me this last two weeks. Perhaps my body was just ready for a rest from the physical stuff.... Who knows!
