Wedding Pictures

Here are the pictures I took last Saturday at the wedding in the middle of TS Barry.  I think this link is correct.  They don't have captions so I will tell you as much as I can of who is who.  Mother of bride in red jacket, mother of groom in brown spaghetti straps, sister of bride in blue w/spaghetti straps, her dh is the really big guy.  Father of groom in blue short sleeved shirt, brother of groom in white shirt w/rolled up sleeeves, best man has the funky hair, dh(dear husband) is the only man in a tie w/blue shirt, I am in pink suit.  Everyone else are friends of bride & groom.  It was a small wedding and even with TS Barry it was lovely.  Hugs, Janie

Janie, you look marvelous in that suit!  That shade of pink is definitely your color! The bride is also lovely, and I like her wedding gown.  I wish the groom would have worn a jacket, although it might have been too darned humid to do so. Did you say they were married on St. Simons Island? Kix

Kix, Thanks, I wanted a suit that color just for the wedding and was amazed when I actually found one.  Yes, they were married on St. Simon's Island in the middle of TS Barry.  The ceremony was originally to be held on the beach and everyone was to be casual-hence no jackets for the men.  If you notice the bride is almost as tall as her dad and she was wearing "formal" flip-flops that had the word "Bride" on the soles.  They were flat and her dad is wearing his boots with a tiny heel, so that makes a bit more height difference, but she is almost his height she is a bit taller than I am and both his girls are beautiful.  I think the oldest one resembles Debra Messing a great deal.
