Hi guys.  I did a 45 min walk outside this morning instead of driving to the gym.  It felt great.   It has been hot here and to be out in the cool morning air was very refreshing. I am leaving town tomorrow for a music festival in Bellows Falls, VT.  I won't be back on the board until next Tuesday.  I could take my computer, but, refuse to do so.  I have to get a break from the job and the only way I can do that is NOT TO HAVE INTERNET ACCESS!  Can someone open the gym for me?  I plan on taking at least a 1 hour walk each day along this country road that is next to the Bed & Breakfast I stay in. Today, will be hell day at the office trying to get everything done, so doubt I'll answer any posts. Big hugs to you all. Lori

Lori - Enjoy your vacation.  I understand about leaving the computer behind. I went to my water aerobics class today for 1 hour.  It is so nice to be back in the pool -- I can feel the difference!

Hi, Lori!  I enjoy walking outside during nice spring and summer weather, so can related to your refreshing experience this morning.  A nice break from your normal routine!   If no one else volunteers, I'll open the gym while you're out.  Between me, Kix, and the other regular posters, we'll keep the light on while you're away.  Enjoy your trip to VT and the music festival.  What kind of music?  Regardless, I'm sure it will be fun!  Have a safe trip - look forward to hearing about your adventure when you return.  I worked out at lunch today - 20 minutes on a stationary bike, then 35 minutes on the elliptical trainer.  The bike is new for me and I can really feel it in my quads.  Thought it was time to mix things up and try something different!   Kellie

Thanks for keeping the gym open Kellie! The music at this festival is alt. country, folk and some bluegrass. See you next week! Lori

Good for you, Lori!  Stepping away from the computer is a good way to rest up and just enjoy your vacation. I went to the rec center and did 25 minutes of forward armbike, level 5.  I couldn't stand it anymore, so I did 5 minutes on the treadmill even though I'm not cleared to do so yet by my plastic surgeon. I made sure to walk and not rub my healing thigh, which was quite a feat! Kix

Gee, Lori takes the coolest trips! Anyway, last night I did a one hour weight training DVD (Get Ripped to the Core).
