I am so thankful for you all

I occasionally go over to the main board but never post there - it just doesn't seem very welcoming. Lately though it seems like everyone over there is so angry and negative - it just made me realize how absolutely wonderful and helpful you all are. I like our little space on the internet and always know I can trust all of you to give me a compassionate and positive yet honest response. So, I'm just saying THANKS to all you wonderful SMO's!   You have been my lifeline and so helpful in my journey. You are all fantabulous!

PJ - I was just over there and so agree with you!! Wish more would post here, but then again it's nice not having the angry and negative comments! I like coming here too! Thanks for posting this!

I totally agree -- I never post on the main board.  The Colorado board is pretty boring.  I have just never felt welcome anywhere except this board.  I appreciate the fellowship, good humor, and upfront discussions that occur here at BMI Over 50. I'll second (or third) those thanks!  Kix

I have to agree. I come here about 4-5 times a day just to check if anybody has posted anything. This is my favorite forum. I feel I relte better here.

I second that emotion!  This is definitely my favorite forum.  I occasionally post on the grads board - some nice folks there and I lurk on the plastics board because I am trying to learn more about the process, but I partipate most here because y'all are such rockstars! Hugs, Tracy

HEY PJ,         BOY DO I KNOW WHAT A GREAT BOARD WE HAVE HERE.. I AM A LURKER WHEN IT COMES TO SOME OF THE OTHER BOARDS HERE BUT NEVER POST... TO MUCH CRAZY DRAMA FOR ME.... I AM A VERY LAID BACK BORING PERSON WITH A BORING LIFE AND LIKE IT THAT WAY... LOL... I HAVE BEEN ON THE OVER 50 BMI FOR ALMOST TWO YEARS NOW IN AUGUST AND I TELL YA... AINT NOTHING BETTER OUT THERE! WE ARE JUST SMO'S OR RECOVERING SMO'S AND LOVE TO HELP EACH OTHER AND LEND AN EAR WHEN NEEDED. AND BE THERE FOR OUR WHINNING DAYS AND BOY DO WE ALL HAVE THEM DAYS LOL.... You are so right. I do read the main board and post on occassion but they are an angry bunch. This is just a wonderful board. I am also very happy with the DS board as well. They too are very kind and supportive and thank goodness for that. Jo

 I do check out the main board each day, but I am not active on it generally.  I just look for questions I also have.  I am sooooo glad I found this board though!!! You people rock!  Thank you for being so welcoming.

I totally agree, PJ.  This board has been very helpful to me; the folks are supportive and encouraging, but still willing to push others to succeed (in a positive way).  In this forum, I really feel that people understand where I'm coming from, the battles I've fought and continue to wage, and that they truly want to help me succeed.   So thanks to you for starting this thread, and thanks to the other folks in this forum for being such outstanding supporters Kellie
