Things you still do?
I've noticed that after loosing weight I still do certain things that I used to when I was much heavier. It's funny but even though I've lost weight, at times I don't think my brain has caught up!
I thought I'd list a few and see what the rest of you might have to add -
I make sure to have a wide space when walking between cars.
I sometimes forget I don't have to ask for a table at a restaurant.
I always start looking at the larger size clothes first.
I still shop at the "Larger" ladies stores, even though I don't have too
I look for a larger chair to sit in.
I still wonder at times if a seatbelt will fit.
Can you add anything?

I can think of a couple things that I still do, I look for the close parking space like I can't walk very far. I still buying a size larger than what I am in shirts. I am still wondering about the airplane ride this summer if I will need an extention. scared to walk to my friends job that is only 2 blocks away because I think I can't make it. I am hoping my brain can get caught up soon. Lorraine
It is so funny that you posted this, because something happened to me yesterday that was this very topic!
I went to the first day of classes and they have the old desks where it's a writing area connected to the desk. Those desks were one of the reasons I didn't finish my degree, I just couldn't fit.
So, I catch myself trying to squeeze into the chair, as if my body wouldn't fit. As I was doing this I just dropped onto the chair, with plenty of room to spare. Everyone just stared at me - it was pretty funny. It actually broke the ice and everyone started to talk.
Other things I do:
1) I seem to be running into things more, since my spacing is all off. I misjudge and now I have bruises everywhere!
2) I also try to find parking spaces closer, or avoid the stairs because I still think I won't make it.
3) I tend to get nervous when a friend says they will drive and I know they have one of those tiny cars that I use to not fit into. Then I get in the car and realize I fit just fine.
4) I still sit down slowly as if my weight will break the chair (it happened before!)
How long before we finally 'get it?'

Ugh those desks are evil! I frequently end up in classes using those & its always embarrassing to go grab a chair and turn the desk. Even worse when there isn't a chair in the room and you have to go hunting. Its happened so much since I moved to San Antonio that I am getting less mortified each time, but I CAN'T WAIT to not have to worry every semester about what kind of classrooms I'll have.
