Remarkable, PJ!! Congratulations. I always wonder what it would be like to go to a venue like a graduation and sit in those seats and actually fit, and look just like everyone else around me. You do that now, and seeing the pics inspire me. Thanks for posting. How are you doing with the non-working thing? Spirits okay? -Julie
Practice safe eating - always use condiments.

Julie, I went to see "Wicked" on Saturday at one of our theaters and I was worried about fitting into the seat.  This is the first time I'd been to the theater without my wheelchair and not sitting in the handicapped accessible section.  Imagine my surprise when I not only fit in the regular seat, but actually had a bit of room to fidget!  It was a good feeling.  The seats weren't all that comfortable in terms of sitting, they are old and don't offer much thigh support, so my knees were kind of sore by the end of the show.  The leg room was also a bit tight (and I have bassett hound legs, I felt sorry for people with long legs).  I think it's time they remodel the theater, but who knows when that will happen? Anyway, hang in there!  It will be your turn soon. Kix

Hey Julie! Thanks for remembering about my job situation I'm actually doing very well, have decided to go back to school and just started today. A full-time student at 41, who would of thunk it. But I have always enjoyed college and have only 6 classes left for my bachelors, so I'm going for it. And in regards to fitting in chairs, I sat down at the desk today and actually felt small! As in, I had so much room that I could actually cross my legs! It was kind of a WOW moment for me - the last time I was in school I ended up dropping my classes because the desks were so uncomfortable. You'll get there, and then you can share your pictures of you fitting in a nice, skinny chair! How's your husband? Wasn't he looking for a job as well?
