YES I GOT APPROVED!!!!

After almost three years of fighting for WLS I got my approval letter today. This past week has been a rough one but getting better. Somehow Thursday night I became extremly sick with NORO VIRUS. Feeling somewhat better and trying to get solids in. I told hubby I got to get better in order to go through surgery. As sick as I have been I think hope and pray I can get through the surgery. Will keep the board updated when I get my surgery date.                                                     Annie

Thanks PJ yes it really has been a struggle and I have had my doubts about it sometimes in my heart and head I know this something I need to do for my health and future.                                                       Annie

Wow Annie!!! How exciting!!!! You have truly hung in there for sure!!! What kind of wls is your insurance covering?  I remember you were looking into the lap-band?  Anyways, sorry you are sick with that virus thing..nothing worse than feeling so sick when you have so many reasons to be celebrating the beginnning of a new kind of life..a life of possibilities and a life of hope for the future.  For now, take care of YOUand please keep us all posted on the date and everything. Hi Ginger, Your angel duty will be needed soon. As far as the type of wls the insurance has approved RNY. This virus has been horrible I think I wasent even this sick when I had blood poisoning. On the mend this morning even started cleaning the kitchen and doing dishes. Hubby just left to take our boat out for the first time this season and I am home. I really wanted to go but my energy is not where it normally is yet. As soon as I get a surgery day everyone here will know.                                                                 Annie

Hi Julie isnt it unbelivable I am really going to get to the losers side. Now if I can just get over this intestinal bug that would be nice. Hubby took the boat out today without me so I am feeling pretty down not being able to feel up to going.                                                       Annie
