Started over 300? Where'd you stop?

I'm just wondering about how "normal" I am (or not!).  My  high weight was 350, give or take 5 pounds, and now I'm at 183, give or take 5 pounds.  I'm exercising my now flat butt off, but can't seem to get below 180.  I'm not unhappy with this; just curious if anyone else has a similar experience.  Oh, yea, I'm only 5' 4", so 185 seems terribly high, but I loo****except for the skin and flab) and feel great. And, slightly off topic, does anyone notice when bike riding, especially on a stationary bike, that the skin and fat on your thighs and legs jars at the bottom of the stroke on the bike?  I just noticed this happening to me this week. HEY LINDA,           YOU HAVE DONE SO GREAT LOSING AND KEEP IT UP!! AS FAR AS HOW FAR DO OTHERS GO>? I DONT REALLY KNOW THAT ANSWER BUT FOR ME I AM SLOWING DOWN ALOT. OTHER TIMES IT PICKS UP AND OTHER TIMES AT A SNAILS PACE. I STARTED OUT AT 397LBS AND AM NOW AT 185LBS. BUT I DO DESCRIBE IT LATELY AS CLIMBING UP HILL BY YOUR TEETH LOL... I AM SATISFIED WITH MY WEIGHT NOW BUT AM LIKE YOU AND FEEL I SHOULD BE SMALLER. I AM FIVE FOUR  ALSO AND KNOW I AM STILL FAR FROM BEING NORMAL OR SKINNY LOL... SO I TAKE WHAT I CAN GET AND  IF DONT LOSE ANYMORE I SURELY WILL BE HAPPY ANYWAY. NEVER SET A GOAL SO CANT GET DISSAPOINTED LOL...AS FAR AS THE BIKE QUESTION>>>> I DONT RIDE ONE ... SORRY CANT ANSWER THAT... HUGS MARGE

Thanks, Marge.  I am with you--I'll take what I can get and be happy whether I lose more or not.  I did set goals, but the lowest I set was under 200, which I didn't think I'd make.  Thanks again--looks like we are both "normal"!

Hi, I started at  308 and am down to 195.  I am still trying to lose. I am losing slow but still losing three to five pds a month or so it seems. I am aiming for 140, my doc says 150 and I may or may not even get there but I am trying and dont plain on giving up until I reach my docs goal at least. I want to go ten under so I have ten to gain back... hugs

Thanks.  I think I'm further out than you--I lost 14 pounds over the last six months.  But that's ok; that was from month 18 to month 24.  I'll take it!  Thanks for your answer!

I started at 356, currently at 196..... I've slowed down too..... But like the others here, if this is it, I'm still thrilled!  I have my life back now and I'm loving it! Hugs,

Started at 303 (high weight was 319) and got down to 158.  Now, I bounce between the low to mid-160's.  Occasionally, I'll dip into the 150s for like an hour or so.

Jesus is so good to me;  I couldn't ask for a better friend, protector, leader, savior!

Have you been to a plastic surgeon yet?  Perhaps some of your "weight" is excess skin.  Scott

Yea, I've been.  They said I don't have that much excess skin.  From what I understand, if I had everything done, it would be only 5 to 10 pounds.   Thanks, though; I would like to think it was excess skin.
