Gym Is Open (Thursday)

I've been so busy with meetings today (in fact, I'm headed to another one) that I am just now opening the gym. I only got in 30 mins on the treadmill this morning and another 1.5 miles at lunch.  That's going to be it for me today.  Yesterday, however, I got in a total of 6 miles... What did you do to move your body today? Lori

Hi Lori! Good for you for for keeping up on your exercise, despite a crazy schedule. I dread going back to work and having to try and fit it in with a set schedule (I'm getting kind of spoiled!) I did 27 minutes on the elliptical and 20 minutes on the bike. I took it a little easier today and I don't feel so tired. Tomorrow though I have to take my car in the shop and since they don't have a shuttle I plan on taking the bus to a certain point and then walking the rest of the way, about 4 miles. That will be my workout tomorrow - hope it mixes it up a bit and may help me out of this funk.

Hi Lori, We were back at the pool this morning.  I would like to go tonight, but I'm not sure that I can make it. So, 1 hour of water aerobics for me (and John)

I hit the gym twice Thursday:  lifted weights for upper & lower body at lunch, then did 35 minutes on the elliptical trainer after work.  Felt great and I'm continuing to notice changes in the shape of my body because of the strength training.  Amazing how our bodies can morph into something new and healthy... Thursday night was my school night - last night of classes,  woo hoo!!!!!!

Jesus is so good to me;  I couldn't ask for a better friend, protector, leader, savior!
