Does embarrasing facial hair disappear????????????????

Hey ladies, I was just wondering if facial hair would eventually go away after losing a dramatic amount of weight...................here's hoping. Melissa

Mine got worse.  Sometimes I feel like a billy goat.  I keep tweezers with me at all times. Hugs, Janie

Wait, wait, wait . . . I'm going to lose hair on my head but gain it on my face??? ACK!!!

I have to add that mine got worse also.  I don't know why maybe all those hormones running crazy but if anyone has a solution let me know.  I use to tweeze every 2 weeks now it is an every other day affair. Wishing help for us all,< Jennifer

OMG MELISSA!          I CANT UNDERSTAND WHY I LOST SO MUCH HAIR ON THE HEAD BUT THE FACE......... I HAVE A TERRIBLE TIME WITH MY FACIAL HAIR. AND NOT TO MENTION MY HAIR BEING SO DARK DOESNT HELP ANY EITHER LOL...IF I LET IT GO I COULD SELL TICKETS IN A SIDE SHOW AT THE CARNIVAL LOL... OR LEON COULD PUT ME OUT TO EAT THE GRASS IN THE YARD LIKE A GOAT LOL... HUGS MARGE

I look on the bright side: all my new facial hair helps to detract attention away from the out-of-control acne that came with it!    

Maybe I am just lucky in this bracket--I used to pluck chin/neck hairs every other day or 3rd day.  Now, I pluck my eyebrows and check (but don't necessarily find) for chin/neck hairs.  I would say I find a chin hair about once a week now. I've also been pretty lucky in that my hair on my head has not sustained terrible loss either.  I have noticed very little loss over and above what I already had due to my thyroid issues... I'd say you will hear more about it being worse than being better....  It seems to be hormonal in nature which also means that you will possibly see it worsen in the first few months after surgery and then possibly get a bit better/lesser once you are farther out and you're not dumping excess estrogen into your body as you burn fat cells away! Melissa, You are very welcome!  I was glad to be able to share the clothes with folks who can get some use out of them!  I got a response from someone who just received a box of clothing from me today and she was on cloud 9!  I know that feeling from the boxes of clothes that I have gotten from others through the clothing exchange!  It is a great feeling to get a box of clothes that will actually FIT after losing so much weight!
