WEEKEND PLANS?

HOWDY TO ALL,            ITS FRIDAY!!! AND SO AM JUST WONDERING IF YA'LL HAVE ANY PLANS FOR THE WEEKEND? I AM STILL TRYING TO GET OVER LAST WEEKENDS FAMILY GET TOGETHER LOL....I HAVE NO PLANS HERE EXCEPT GOING TO MY GRANDSONS FIELD DAY AT HIS SCHOOL TODAY. HE IS IN KINDERGARTEN... AND HE IS SO EXCITED. I HAVE TO ADMIT TO ALL OF YOU OUT THERE.....I NEVER WENT TO NOT ONE OF MY THREE GIRLS FIELD DAYS WHEN THEY WERE IN SCHOOL. I KNEW HOW KIDS COULD BE SO CRUEL AND DIDNT WANT THEM TO BE MADE FUN OF WITH THERE MOMA WOBBLIN IN THERE SO HUGE AND NOT TO MENTION SWEATING LIKE A PIG OUTSIDE IN THE GA HEAT FOR THE DAYS EVENTS. SO NO, I NEVER WENT.LIFE HAS CHANGED IN SO MANY WAYS AND BEING THERE FOR MY GRANDCHILDREN AND FAMILY WAS ON THE TOP OF MY MANY REASONS FOR WLS. SO FOR ALL OF YOU OUT THERE JUST THINK ABOUT WHAT WE HAVE MISSED ALL THESE YEARS BEING CONFINED TO WEIGHT. I WILL NEVER FORGET WHAT WLS HAS GIVE TO ME... LIFE........ HUGS MARGE

Hey, Marge! I know what you mean about weight getting in the way of life.  I tried not to let it, but sometimes, it just did.  I feel sad sometimes at the opportunities I missed due to being fat.  As for that GA heat, it seemed like whenever I went to Atlanta for business, the minute I got off the plane at Hartsfield, I'd immediately get all sweaty.  Of course, that didn't stop me from finding my way to the Varsity for a slaw dog, fries, and a frosted orange!  My mom never went to any of my school activities, either, but not because she was fat (she wasn't very fat at all).  Mostly it was because she couldn't stand being around kids.  I used to go to some of my nieces' events when they were in elementary school -- I think I see now why my mother hated it so much.  Those grade school band and orchestra concerts are SO terrible!  Since I just had Blobby removed, I need to take it easy this weekend, which will kill me because it's the first weekend we will have outstanding weather here in CO.  79 tomorrow and in the 80s on Sunday.    It's a small price to pay to be Blobby-free! Two of my friends are stopping by to see me tomorrow (friends I made at WLS class last year). If I'm up to it, we might go for a ride in my sister's wonderful new Highlander Hybrid.  We haven't taken it on any adventures yet.  I'm not sure if we will take it on any adventures together, mostly because her taste in music sucks and I'd commit a sorocide if I had to listen to Neil Diamond nonstop for hours and hours!  Have a fun weekend! That mysterious family called the "I don't knows" broke my laptop yesterday so I will go shopping for another one and do some thrift store shopping in Sandy Springs. Other than that nothing. It will be peaceful since that  other family got my sons in trouble.
