Still fighting and waiting

Here it is Wednesday and I have been emailing and or faxing my butt off for three days. I had to go to the eye doctor today for a follow up. In November I started having some cloudness in my left eye so they wanted to wait until April to recheck. Turns out I am developing a cateract the kind people with diabetes get. I am still a little in shock but am trying to keep positive. I turn 48 on Tuesday and I asked the doctor was this a little young for that he said no. He also said my future wls will not chage my eye condition. To me this is even more reason to have wls.                                                                    Annie

Annie,   I am so sorry to hear about your vision.  It is the one precious gift from God that we don't want to mess with.  Did the Dr. say why WLS would not change your condition?   I'll keep you in my prayers. Beth
