Hello everyone, I don't have much time to get online anymore due to my little buddle of joy. He had his two weeks check up yesterday. He went from 6 lbs.1oz to 7 lbs. 8oz !!! The nurse had to poke his heel three times for his blood test. It brought tears to my eyes. I was so glad daddy was there to hold him. I have never heard my baby cry so loud. As for mommy...I am doing well. I am back in onederland. I've got 25 more pounds to lose to be back to my pre-preggo weight. I am determined to get back in my 12's. I'm looking forward to getting back in the gym in 4 weeks. Take care my sweet friends!!! ((((hugs)))) Diana   379/195/170

Just wait til it's time for his shots!  When I worked in Immunization, I had more than one new mom wilt under the strain of holding their baby for all the shots they get as infants.  There was one baby that sticks out in my mind -- we saw him for his first set of shots at 2 months, then he came back for his second set of shots at 4 months.  We were still using the oral polio vaccine then -- the minute he tasted the oral polio, he began howling.  I'm convinced he remembered his experience from the first time he tasted that stuff at age 2 months!  Glad to hear that Cody is such a little doll, and he's not wearing out his parents too much.  Pop in from time to time while the little guys naps, we'll be here!  Oh, and don't forget to post pictures, too. Diana, I had a hard time when my kitten had to go through all his immunizations and blood draws.  Of course, he is healthy and happy now, but, it is quite dramatic.  I can't imagine if he was my real human baby.  Of course, all my cats may as well be, that is how they are treated! I'm glad you are checking in with us.  Are you enjoying your new role as a mother?  Anything seem easier or harder than you though it would be? Lori
