Did make it to the gym this morning.  Took me awhile to wake up, but, did make it!  I did 40 minutes on the treadmill and lower body strength training. What did you do to move your body today? Lori

Good morning Lori,  Well I havent been a happy camper. The scale is no longer my friend and I am about to through it out the window. Monday I got on it and I was  back up to 308 I was so pissed off about it I worked out extra hard and felt wonderful I lost the water weight this morning. One day can set  you back and make you think you have just blown it and you really haven't. I think from now on I need to move my body everyday and that it. I don't like watching that scale but it keeps me on track and if I see a problem I can work on it right away. Well I am still working out for about 1 1/2hours 5 days per week on the elliptical and treadmill. I am sliming down and enjoying myself and how I look. Talk to ya soon.  Lorraine

Lorraine, I'm sorry that the scale isn't co-operating with you right now.  My guess is that you are burning that fat, and getting more muscle.  I know that you must be slimming down! Keep up the good work, it is paying off!

Well, I got back on my "friendly" treadmill today, increased my speed (just a bit) and went a little longer - added about 5 minutes to my normal time.  After feeling like I had overdone it a bit last week, I decided to just take it easy and slow rather than killing myself and burning out.  At least with regular exercise, I'm finding it easier to get in more water every day!

Hi Lori! How's Utah? (We got your lovely storm today - thanks for sending it our way :-) I've been having a problem when I workout on the Elliptical, my feet fall asleep. So, I got new shoes this weekend, hoping it would help, and it didn't help at all! I did 40 minutes on the darn machine and my feet were in pain toward the end.  Then I did 10 minutes on the cycle and my feet still hurt. I've begun getting a massage every week and she told me she would work on my calves - she thought that was the issue. I certainly hope it helps! I also did 20 minutes of weights for upper and lower. It's really beginning to make a difference.

Hi Lori - We went to 2 hours of aquafit - 1 hr at 9am, 1 hr at 6pm.  We had 2 pretty hard workouts today - my arms are sore! I also turned in my application tonight to be an instructor.  Next, I need an interview.  It's been YEARS since I had to fill out an application or interview -- I've been at stay at home mom for 23 years!
