Welcome back, Lori.  Glad you got exercise in while you were in Atlanta.  Like you, I tend to knosh on whatever is around when I'm on the road.  But I'm always super glad to get home and back to my regular routine; I just feel so much better when I'm eating right.  I'm glad to be able to recognize how my diet affects my mood, how I feel, etc.  Before my surgery, I was so unhealthy that I couldn't differentiate such things because none of it was good!   On Monday, I went to the gym twice.  I lifted weights for upper and lower body at lunch.  Then I did 40 minutes on the elliptical trainer after work.  Thanks again for keeping the gym open -  Kellie

Kellie, I know what you mean.  Even though my diet is far from perfect now it is so much better than before WLS.  I truly enjoy good healthy food.  Lori

Hi Lori, Welcome home!  I forgot to post last night, so I'm posting this morning.  John and I went to aquafit last night.  The gal who teaches on Monday nights is TOUGH.  It is by far the hardest workout of the week, and she is always coming up with new stuff to make it even harder.  The women who whine in the MWF morning classes wouldn't last but a few minutes here.  So, we did our 1 hour of HARD water aerobics, and came home and passed out!  We were tired! Getting ready to leave for class this morning!

Jennie, When I can make it to the Saturday morning water aerobics class, that teacher is super hard.  It amazes me how tired I can get even though I go to the regular gym 5 days a week. Good for you! Lori
