Good Morning Marge, I am surprised that over the past 2 weeks to drop over 10lbs!  YAY!  Next week, we leave for a short trip and I'd really like to be below 280 - we will see.  I'm also waiting for my period, so we must all be bloating together! Have a great week! Hi, everyone! Last week was kind of a strange week.  I'm glad it's Monday and my sibling has gone back to work; she was in a bad mood all weekend because of the miniature scratch in her new car (which will take about 10 minutes for a body shop to buff out and paint). Beginning weight: 530 Surgery weight: 407 Last week: 278 This week: 276 Not a huge loss, but at least it's a loss!  Funny how impatient we get about our weight loss! Kix

Hi Marge, and everyone else. Had a nice weekend, got my hair cut and colored. Went back to my "roots" which means I got rid of the blond highlights. I like it, funny how I was always trying to be a different color than I was born with, now I like that color. Anyway I didn't do to good this week no loss. Beginning weight 473 surgery weight 417 Last week 204 This week 204 I have really been exercising, and getting all my water, but I think my calorie intake is too much 1400 a day. I will try and decrease it this week. Have a great week everybody Lynn

Nice lazy weekend although I didn't feel 100%.  Had the "icks" and just didn't feel like doing much of anything.  Then I was disappointed I didn't lose as much this week as I wanted to.  I'm only 3 weeks out and I wanted to kick myself for getting disappointed already!  I had to remind myself that I didn't get to this point overnight and it definitely won't come off overnight either.  Being impatient defintinely won't make things go any faster.  But I'm now happy that I've lost 33 pounds in 3 weeks and over 50 pounds since starting my pre-op diet.  Even the small victories are worth celebrating. BEGINNING WEIGHT - 405 SURGERY WEIGHT - 385 LAST WEEK - 357 THIS WEEK - 352 TOTAL LOST SINCE SURGERY - 33 TOTAL POUNDS LOST - 53

Hi Marge! Sounds like you had a great weekend... good for you! I spent the weekend shopping for business clothes. I started a temp/freelance graphics job today and wanted to make a good impression but have no business like clothes at all! My last job was extremely casual. It was fun trying on clothes that were in the teens! I actually fit into size 18/petite pants. THAT made my weekend! I lost this week too, despite my period. My goal is to be below 220 for my nieces graduation at the end of May, and I am very close! Surgery weight: 371 Last Week's weight: 229 This week's weight: 225 4 more pounds, 146 total!

18s!  Woohoo!  You are just getting smaller by the minute!  Way to go! I was talking with a pal in Littleton last night from surgery class, and every time I see her, I think she cannot possibly get any skinnier, and yet she does!  She's in 14s now, I think.  I cannot imagine wearing 14s.  I was shocked just being able to buy undies from Lands End and not having to pay premium prices for Big Girl Underwear -- I bought four pair for what one pair used to cost me. Enjoy the freelancing gig!  For some reason, I thought you were in I.T.  I guess my public health brain lumps everyone who works with computers as I.T., when that's really not the case at all. We'll go for that walk once I'm all healed up. Kix

You're not the only one who equates computer work with IT - my aunt keeps sending me IT jobs available in San Antonio - it makes me laugh every time :-) But it's sweet of her to try. I've been having a great time at this job - I know everyone there and it's a great environment - small and busy. If things work out it might turn into full-time, I think this is my tryout. I can't imagine being in 14's either! The last time I wore 14's I was in High School! I know exactly what you mean about big girl underwear and the cost - I still can't believe I can go into regular stores and find clothes! And I love the price too. By the way, when is your surgery? Isn't it this week? (if so, then I am being a poor angel!)
