Gym is Open (Sunday)

The gym is open! We went to the rec center.  I only did 8 minutes of treadmill today, my knees were kind of sore.  I added extra time to my armbike routine to make up for it, doing 30 minutes total. It's a beautiful day in Colorado -- I hope to get outside and enjoy some of it later. What did you do to move your body today? Kix

I did a 60 minute cardio kickboxing DVD (Janis' Saffel "Kick It") followed by a 10 minute ab workout (10 Minute Solutions: 6 Pack Abs)

Kickboxing?!   Way to go!  I can't imagine trying to kickbox right now.  Maybe once I get below 200! Good job! Kix

If you ever want to give it a try, I do NOT recommend that particular Janis Saffel DVD.  It totally sucked and I'm sorry I bought it.

I didn't make it to the gym, but I did work in my yard for 2 hours (raked the front yard, mowed the front and back).  I also helped some friends who are moving - packing things in their old house, carrying things up and down the stairs, etc.  So while I did not make it to the gym, I did move my body!   Thanks for opening the gym, Kix!
