Hi Guys, I'm walking to my Weigh****chers meeting in about 30 mins, which is about 1.5 miles round trip.  I will have to do my gym stuff after work as I had an early morning meeting.  I've been doing pretty good getting in my 5 miles a day lately with my pedometer. What have you done to move your body today? Lori

Lori,  How are you doing with the new exercise? Is the scale moving? These days it's moving slow for me but it is moving so can't complain. I tried on a mens xl shirt and guess what it fit . I haven't wore that size shirt in anything in years. I guess you were right I am losing just now it inches. Sizes of clothes really bother me becasue in one store I am one size an in another it will be something else. I went to the Avenue and in that store i can wear a size 20 stretch and 24 non stretch, but in Walmart it is 24 stretch and I havent tried anyother sizes. Well thats all for now this morning I was up early in the morning and did 60 min of cardio workout 35 elliptical and 25 treadmill.  Talk to ya soon,  Lorraine

Lorraine, I was down 0.8 lbs at Weigh****chers yesterday.  But, I was up last week, so haven't made any real progress yet! Sizes are a real problem for me too.  I wear a 16W most of the time, but, not always, depends on how they are made.  I bought a pair of really cute 18W jeans (without trying them on) and they are too tight to wear!!!  Arrgh!  You really have to try things on.  I kept them though as a goal. Went to the rec center this evening and did 12 minutes on the treadmill and 24 minutes on the armbike (12 forward and 12 reverse).  It felt good! I was annoyed that the locker room was all sopping wet from the kids coming out of the pool.  Don't their parents teach them to clean up after themselves?  I'm not talking about the floor -- the benches were sopping wet, too.  Ugh. Kix, If there is a pool at your gym, you will always find soggy locker rooms.  You will get used to it!  Never like it, but, get used to it.   Sounds like you are doing great! Lori

Hi Lori, John and I went to AquaFit tonight for 1 hour.  I swam 8 laps after class, and I was worn out.   My week is all messed up so I'm out of the routine of going both morning and evening.  I will go tomorrow morning, Thursday morning, Thursday evening and Friday morning. I'm finding that I'm taking the stairs more often too -- all those little things add up!

Jennie, You betcha, those little things do add up!  One reason I love wearing my pedometer is that it really encourages me to park farther away and take the stairs and at the end of the day, I can see how much it bought me!  I always try for a total of 5 miles, which 45 mins are usually on the treadmill, which gives me around 2.5 to 3, I make sure I get in the rest of my miles by walking everywhere I can. Good for you! Lori

No... "Crunch" is the name of the company that puts out the DVD's - I suppose it is the "brand".  It must be the name of a gym or something.  Anyway, all the DVD's in this line are called "Crunch" -  Crunch: Fat Burning Pilates, Crunch: Fat Burning Dance Party, Crunch: Cardio Salsa, etc.  Can't say I've ever done crunches to salsa music.  Whenever I am doing ab work I am so busy either groaning in agony, praying for it to be over quickly, or yelling at the TV "HOW MANY MORE?!?!?!?"  that I don't pay attention to the music.   Gosh, I hate them...
