I literally drug myself to the gym this morning....wow, I'm having trouble getting up lately! I am so glad I went though.  Felt so much better after my 45 mins on the treadmill and ab work. What did you do to move your body today?

20 minute cardio boot camp class (Denise Austin cardio bootcamp) and 55 minute pilates class (Denise Austin Hit the Spot Pilates).   My glutes and quads are still sore and I worked out first thing this morning.  Nothing - not even hardcore weight training - makes me feel sore after the workout like Pilates.  That's not a complaint - it is actually why I like Pilates so much - I can "feel" it working!!

Lori, ever consider switching to after-work evening workouts?

I finally was able to work out this morning! I took it slow, did 20 minutes on the elliptical and 15 on the cycle. It felt so good to move! And I only had one coughing fit, so that was an improvement.

OMG, OW! OW! OW! We went to the auto show today down at the Convention Center.  I took my walker with the built-in seat because I knew there wouldn't be many places to sit and rest.  We parked in the Convention Center parking structure, and it turned out that people had to enter the building from the main entrance (near the Big Blue Bear) and not from the upper level walkway between the parking structure and the Center.  I was able to walk without too much trouble, but then I had to walk out of the way to get to the lower level to get the tickets and enter the venue.  What a mess!   I had fun, though, and it wasn't really the walking that killed me.  I climbed in and out of just about every car that was there, and all that bending  made my knees very angry!  It was exciting actually  being able to fit in all the cars without much trouble.  Last year at this time, I couldn't fit into a car at all.  I liked all of the Toyotas (except the Sienna) and the Honda Fit model.  I was a bit dismayed by the Accord and Civic -- Honda seems to have "cheapened" them a bit, they aren't as nice as they used to be.  The Suburus felt very cramped for the prices they were asking.  I also entered a drawing for a Hyundai Santa Fe.  I'd sure like to win it!  My sibling is still considering the Highlander, but now she wants to test drive a Honda Pilot.  If I had some money, I just might buy one of those Honda Fits -- when I climbed in it, I felt 16 years old again.  If walking all over the convention center and climbing in and our of cars wasn't enough exercise today, we went to the rec center as usual.  There was no way I could do treadmill today, but I did 15 minutes forward and 15 minutes reverse armbike, Matterhorn terrain, level 3. I am very tired and plan to plop on my recliner for the duration of the evening. Kix
