I had my surgery 2004. Gastric bypass. I had a weight regain 2006 and had to fight my way back. mow I use a plant based diet to maintain my weight. collardgal.com I offer weekly food prep classes ad a live stream show. I would love to hear about how others are living long term.
They had this shot that I tried about 3 months before I finally stopped but I still wanted to drink. When I passed out and wrecked my car at work from my body being depleted of the vitamins needed I started having seizures. I had to finally surrender to God... Ultimately, he had to take the taste and desire from me. Sweetheart please do what you have to do to get sober because it will only get worse... God Bless You!

wow paris I think that's awesome you quit.So far I'm not physically ill but I do drink a lot of wine and i'm a bit worried as well.I want to stop but I don't want to side effects like seizures,or anxiety,or the shakes.I already suffer from panic attacks for four years near during my daughters chemotherapy.
self love I think that is awesome that you have been sober for five years.I really want to stop too.The docs told me I was healthy but I dod have at least a bottle of wine a night.I has three glasses last night but the doc said I cant just stop totally or my body will go into shock and I can have a seizure or die.Were you given medicine or anything to calm the sideeffects of stop drinking?
how did you stop without having sideeffects the doctors say you should never stop on your own or you could have a seizure or die.
That would be me It helps me sleep and relax and I tried to not drink as much last night I had two and half verses a bottle and i'm nine years out of lapband surgery.I was a wine drinker before but i'm worse now nad since I gained back the 30 pounds from having two fills its even more depressing.I know nobody is oerfect and everyone has something they do too much of but something has to give.
