I have and am still making changes in My Life, around food, beverages and a lot of other stuff. I have been slowly eliminating what I consider negatives from My Life. " We" all have a lot of food allergies that cause inflammation and most people are unaware of them. Gluten and wheat are major ones. I thought it would be difficult but it really is not...it is amazing how good gluten/wheat free items taste and they even have less carbs, more protein and less calories because the items are usually made from nut flour. (Domino's even have a gluten free pizza that tastes great)
I'm 2 weeks gluten and wheat free! AND so long inflammation, bloating, swelling, strange allergic reactions; and hello clarity, ankle bones, just feeling GOOD!
Anyone else gluten/wheat free?

Metabolic challenges; Health issues and other surgeries; Family matters; Work responsibilities; Education and self improvement; All around life stress; and the list is never ending but MsLorinda just keeps on moving through it.
To MsLorinda and to all you newbies out there this is the transition to the 'Tweens' as I call it. Not a newbie, not a vet, getting tired of the grind as progress has slowed. Time to hold strong!
- Shake up the work out routine and build in greater intensity.
- Add variety for the flavors you have been missing while adjusting recipes to fit our LIFE PLAN not the meal of the moment.
- Never buy a larger size and keep a tape measure so vanity sizes don't fool you.
- Make peace with the scale because it is an objective measurement. Ignore it and pounds can creep on.
-*- Most important, keep on loosing looser! Don't let the "too thin" bull**** talk infiltrate your brain. It is generally coming from a society that is too fat.
MsLORINDA, YOU LOOK FANTASTIC AND THE SINGLE DIGIT SIZES ARE IN YOUR FUTURE.
CONGRATULATIONS FROM YOUR ANGEL!

I'm nearly three years post-op. I've successfully reached my wl goals and lost 130 lbs. I was 51 when I had RNY, and I just turned 54 last Thursday. At present, I'm not planning any plastics, but I may one day have a breast lift to improve the look of the girlz. Maybe even a TT. But my age is no consideration. I feel it's worth it if it will make me look and feel better. That's all that really matters is what it will add to your quality of life no matter your age.
I wish you continued success on your journey! Keep it moving!

My buddy was telling me about Carbquick. She lives by it and says it taste just like the real deal. I'm a little scared to try it since I'm not that far out but I was wondering what you'll think about it.
This next one looks delicious I guess because I miss eating peanut butter. This one is called sunbutter made out of sunflower seeds. This looks good!
