I just got home about 20 minutes ago. It's been quite the experience but mainly I've been askin myself WTF did I just do.

I have no incisions on the left side but that side was laughing at the morphine I was getting so they upgraded me to something else that starts with a "T" and Hydrocodone combo. I'm walking pretty good and just trying to expel surgical gas because it's hard for me to take in even liquids with these large gas bubbles in my stomach.

Anyway, thanks for the well wishes and I'll be back later with more.

Percent of excess body fat says a lot more than pounds alone.  Congratulations to you.

Just keep working those upper & lower abs.  If you are prone to mid section fat don't expect a trim middle from exercise alone.  As the body fat percentage goes down s will your waistline.  Too bad we can't select where the fat loss happens but with enough fat loss and firm abs you will have a slimer mid section.

Your muscles will grow stronger and you will be doing crunches like a pro.  Check out
http://www.twohundredsitups.com/.   Work at your own pace for good results and no injuries.  Keep at it and it will happen for you.

Amen!

This woman is truly blessed with another chance for a life in the best health she can manage with a serious autoimune disorder.  And Candice is equally amazing
and inspirational.  I remember when picking up a cup of coffee was a challenge for her.  Now she's right back to being an instructor for zumba plus other workouts too; and, holding down a full time professional job.

There is no substitute for good health.  We each have to keep the best of health we can be in with our own prsonal challenges.  You look awesome as always which we know is owed to staying focused on beig healthy.

Topic: RE: HOLD MY FEET TO THE FIRE! ACCOUNTABILITY TIME
I'm trying to get my head back in the game.  For around 48 hours I ate like the fat girl I am inside.  Not enough for weight gain to be an issue but not as it should be by a long shot.  On the outside, still relatively thin.  For this marking period I withdraw and take an incomplete (translation: complete failure).

When you fall get your @$$ right back up.  For th 99th time I'm going for Atkins induction 2012.  This used to be easy for me but lately I've been struggling with the 20g net carbs.  Leafy green veg only.

Working for slim, lean, strong, healthy means living it not just thinking it.  The head issues will be my challenge this week.

ACCOUNTABILITY MISSION: NO MERCY AND NO EXCUSES

Forgive me for the "threepeat" but I'm a bit short on time and motivation lately.  I'll do better next posting.  For now its time for you to
TELL THE WHOLE TRUTH AND BE ACCOUNTABLE:

WIN!

You are a loser over the past week

LOOSE!

You are a gainer over the past week

DRAW!
No loss no gain over the past week.  Is it a frustrating normal slow down in your wl? Or, perhaps its an infuriating stall?  Or, is this maintaining and holding steady, no problem?  Or, have you made a clusterfkcu of it all and got lucky with a draw?  If the last supposition is you, take a step back to the loose category.

GRADE YOURSELF FOR THE WEEK:

A - excellent
B - good
C - fair
D - poor
F - fail

Exercise:
What are you doing?  Are you really putting your best effort into dedicated fitness related activities?  Do you do all that you can to be active outside of your required daily routine?

Diet:  Yes I use the dreaded "d" word.  All it really means is your nutrition plan.  We all have a dietary way of living be it consistent or hit/ miss.  Does your dietary behavior reflect your goals?

YOU CAN LIE TO YOURSELF BUT IT WILL NOT FOOL EVEN YOU.  What are you eating?  How are you exercising?  What is working?  What needs correcting?  How are you objectively measuring your progress?

TELL IT STRAIGHT PEOPLE.  That is, be straight with YOU; no one else really matters on this mission.
ACCOUNTABILITY is   personal and solitary where beating down obesity is concerned.

Make this week a good one.  Think about what went well and what was not so nice recently.  Consider what works for you and what is counter productive.  Make a plan.  Work your program.

...All are welcome, jump in at anytime.

Hey MsPC !  Good to see you back on BAF.

You know me.  My screen name should be: MSW will never be satisfied

I'm still bouncing ten above where I really need to be to keep a solid normal bmi during the monthly fluctuations and hating it. Trying to get motivated...  Let me not get started because as you know I am an expert in the arts of *****'n & moan'n & whin'n & complain'n, lol.

Congratulations on starting your journey.  If I could tell every pre op just one thing to start doing right now it is EXERCISE.  If all you can do today is sit in a chair and extend your  legs or raise your arms over head it is still a start.

I'm glad you like the links.  You will loose that hundred and then some.
We'll be seeing you on the loser's bench.
