I have been going back and forth to the hospital for the past year or so. Due to severe stomach pain as well as severe nausea and vomiting. No diagnose was made. So finally i had an endoscopy. And they now say i have 2 peptic ulcers and gastritis.
I have lost 45 lbs since mayb feb. I have.no appetite. This is awful.
Has anyone on the board had this problem?
Sorry you're going through this. Which procedure did you have?
Greetings,
I am new to the site but I see you are also in Georgia. Have you been able to keep your weight off .. Also, did you go to a dr. In GA?
I was disappointed weight wasn't "melting off" as the doc had said it would. I took pictures monthly since surgery- I noticed a difference by the 3rd month out. It takes time- stick with it.

Hi, my name is Dawn I am new to this site as well. I just recently had surgery December 6 of this year and it seems like the weight loss is slow and my appetite is the same.
My surgery date was 12/7/16 and I had the misconception that I would wake up like Beyoncé or at least 30 pounds lighter. Yet reality has set in in and I have only lost 7 pounds, yet I am no longer on my medication for diabetes. I find myself grateful to have had this opportunity to improve my health and self esteem. Can anyone tell me when they started seeing results after surgery?
Hi and welcome to the site. You should repost this on the VSG forum because not many people use this forum. Unfortunately appetites can come back, it may just be head hunger or acid reflux. Try drinking a glass of water when you first feel hunger, you might just be dehydrated and not really hungry at all. Also try taking an antacid, if you not longer hungry after taking that, then it may be acid reflux. Wish you the best!

It's the best decision, I did a blog on my experience if you want to read it. Be well!
Hello all, I new to this site. I had VSG in 2013 but lately it seems like I cant lose a pound under my lowest weigh in. Lately I've noticed that I'm hungry more often. Even though I cant eat as much as I was able to pre-op, Its like that old appetite has come back. I'm not sure if its head hunger or what... Just looking for similar stories and solutions.
Good afternoon..... I am 3 weeks out today for a revision from my lap band to the RNY. I am having a very Hard time getting my vitamins and my protein in daily. I am so nauseous that I can hardly put anything in my mouth. Does anyone have any suggestions? I really need help.
I did not have it. I have a leg infection from an accident. I am waiting for that to clear up but I rescheduled it for 11/10/16. I am praying all goes well and I can go forward on 11/10. Thanks for checking!
