ACCOUNTABILITY MISSION: NO MERCY AND NO EXCUSES
Our new week comming up. Every minute of each day is a chance to move closer or further from your objectives. Can you be accountable minute by minute? Can you envision manageable pieces of the events that will accumulate to your success?
TELL THE WHOLE TRUTH AND BE ACCOUNTABLE:
Is just doing the right thing always a possibility? Are there times when weakness overwhelms? Does this make us weak in character or is it indicative of our particular disease? Is this simply the reality of imperfection being inherent in all of us? Do the answers even matter?
Why do we still struggle in spite of our varied wl tools and so much dietary information? THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A "WHY?" BUT DO WE HAVE TO ACCEPT IT? Insufficient weight loss. Weight gain. Failure to meet your pre op goals to get wls approval. Difficulty doing this with diet and exercise alone. Do we own the "why?" forever or is the true "why?" really "Why can't we just let it go?".
We can decide to release the "why?" that plagues us. If the explanation it is not helping you move forward, then perhaps your focus on answering the question of why has diverted your attention from finding your resolution. Perhaps we do not need 100% of the analysis to move ahead. Perhaps we can be accountable for just this small space of time. Get through right now. Get through the next right now. Perhaps that is the best we can do if we are to make progress in spite of not having all of the answers.
As we struggle we analyze, re access, strategize, and revize. If you are of the nerdy variety as I'm sure you've guessed I am, the need to have all the pieces is almost physically painful. Even many creative types feel the inspiration is missing in order to move on. The result is paralysis. No progress; or worse, we continue to back slide.
There are a ****load of people making a fortune on the concept of the power of attraction. COMMON DENOMINATOR: SUCCESS COMES FROM FOCUS ON THE DESIRED OUTCOME. Manifesting Your Destiny; The Secret; or, one of a few dozen other cash cows: Look past the magical thinking to what successful people do every day. Look at those around you and not just the billionaire stories.
Our weight loss journeys are no different. Those who succeed over a lifetime are focused on using each and every available resource to achieve their desired outcome. This drives their thougt process. When they see a tool or an obstacle it appeas to them as either a risk or an oportunity and is treated accordingly.
We do this every day without an author to sell it to us. However, we each have areas in our lives where it is more or less difficult to see things clearly. MINUTE BY MINUTE NOTICE THE RISKS AND OPPORTUNITIES TO YOUR HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD AND A LIFETIME AT A HEALTHY WEIGHT. Adjust your focus and use these to your advantage.
This week commit to making it through right now. Let the rest happen as it happens. You will forsee what you need as you remain focused on your desired outcome. We may never be able to explain all of the un answered "why". Is it really necessary in order to achieve successful long term weight loss?
...All are welcome, jump in at anytime.

Topic: ALL ABOARD! PROTEIN TRAIN IN THE STATION
Choo, Choo! Lets show our support for the Protein Train riders. I'm not trying to pull a hijack. By the courtesy of MsRetta, your protein train engineer, it has been put out there.
If you ride this train or if you don't, come on out and support your BAF family. ENCOURAGE. OFFER CONSTRUCTIVE CRITIQUE. CALL FOLKS OUT ON THE TRUE BULL**** HIGH FIVE AND CELEBRATE VICTORIES TINY AND GREAT. We're each trying to hold it together in the way that works best for us.
If this is not for you but you are struggling, put it out there. In a support community no one should be alone. Lets post about it and help each other find our way.
Share your experiences and the knowledge you've gained. Step away from the "group think" and express your ideas. Different things work for different people. You may say just what someone else needs to hear. You may have the answerr someone is searching for.
THANK YOU MsRETTA FOR ENGINEERING THIS BAF PROTEIN TRAIN! We may not all be on board, but we are riding with you in spirit.

MsLEE, Much Luv! I've missed you. I need you. How you know my pain maybe even better than I do.
I'm so sorry you are so near your previous weight. I can only imagine how you feel because I know how depressed I am being just 11 lbs shy of the obese mark. You will get that fat off again. You must. Becca is your rock so tell her to boulder up and support you in this. Se is your positive example that it can and will happen. Harder for sure the second time around but you are fully capable of getting this done.
Calories are under control; well below my forever 1100 limit but I'm eating the wrong foods. No shakes and way off of my plan. This is a low carb version of the extreme fat smash diet for real.
I'm doing it because I have no choice. Also, I am still bitter that efs has kicked my ass over a dozen times. Low carb is fine but getting back to the shakes is a ***** They just don't want to go down and with my allergies I'm limited to egg white powder. RTDs are all soy and/ or whey.
We will do this because we did not carve up our insides to give up. I can still squeeze into my jeans but I was up to 163 lbs on Thursday in a size four dress and feeling it hug me. My personal sucide consideration mark is 150 lbs and a size two plus I'm filled with roid rage and constantly a starving bottomless pit.
Been eating lettuce, avocados, no cal dresssing, fish, chicken, shrimp. As of today I am off the air popped pop corn to get the carbs under cotrol. Tomorrow its on to the shakes. I have to get on this plan but no fruit cause its a trigger sometimes. We agreed I would substitute salad or veg.
The doc wants me on shakes for a month and I looked him in the eye and committed. I meant it when I said it and I will do it. I'm just a few days late starting out.
I'm going to weigh myself in a few minutes. Not daily but maybe twice a week or so. Goal is 135 lbs max fully dressed at mid day so its apples to apples with my surgeon visits. That means I gotta loose 30 + lbs. He don't play. I'm getting pumped up again with the drugs this week & I could be up 100 lbs by next month.
This time I have to make efs work. I can't exercise much. No energy, no strength, but that will get back to normal eventually. I've got to clear my metabolism of the carbs and up my protein level. Thank God the calories are working out ok but this EFS-esque jump start plan is going to slash that to about 700 I'm guessing.
We must do whatever it takes. I know you hate to low carb but maybe you should give this version a try. The protein will help to preserve your muscle. You will get your protein needs in for sure even wih the low calories. This is actually hgher than my usual maintenance protein. We can do this! We have each others back. We WILL do this.

That is the fat smash, I don't care what they call it, it's fat smash.
I am at a all time high right now and I suck. I have been eating right for the past six days but today I ate some extra snacks because it is the weekend which is always hard.
I am so desperate that I am doing EFS again even though I feel it eats muscle, I need to get this weight off before I am back at pre surger weight.
Come on Marcia, you can do this, because you are like me. No matter how many times we fail, we get up and keep trying over and over again.
Be strong sister.
