V'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
One of the best features is it distinguishes between types of metabolism so those of us who struggle with weight loss don't feel like total failures. Smith makes it clear that our bodies operate differently so results are tougher to come by and take us longer. Most diet books skip this imporant piece of info & focus on the easy loosers as examples.
You have to hustle with the work outs but that's a big part of why it works. The carb count is too high for me personally, so it sets off cravings by introducing foods I don't normally touch like whole grain hot cereals. However, I noted that my docs recently prescribed plan looks like a lower carb version of efs. I will be on the docs plan as soon as I can. I would kill to see even low results per the efs diets expectations. It still beats my post op progress rate even as a newbie.
I'm feeling like hell. Way off plan but calories are down to the level I need. Pushing to do better. As I am able to handle kitchen tasks more normally my meal plans will improve. Drpped a few pounds but barely a dent in the problem. My jeans are kiling me but I'm most in if nothing else.
We will get there!

Sadly, its still too soon to tell but I'm hoping to be more stable over the next few days. Fingers crossed and saying my prayers to be well enough to be there with one of my BFFs & my OH conference roomie!
I will let you know for certain in a couple of days. Body parts are functioning better piece by piece. We'll see... Pray for me folks!

I must be doing something right lol..Yes I got a hater and a very slow hater too. It finally came out "you must be feeling yourself since you lost some weight, but I liked you before when you was bigger" I'm like seriously!
I was a little thrown back at the comment and I vented with some of my other girlfriends about it. They all were like I wouldn't f** with her anymore. In my mind I think it might be beneficial to keep her in my back pocket, besides if I got haters then I might be doing something right! besides no one else said anything about me changing.
So here is my summary of it all..Was I truly a friend or was I that fat friend that made her feel good about herself when I was around. I'm started evaluating my relationship with her and keeping a close eye on any future friendships.
Thats so funny to me..she kinda a new friend thats been around for 4 yrs and the other friends I do have is pretty much a select few. But one thing for sure I'll keep a close eye out for her and any others that want to slick try me!
Right now I have issues of appetite, cravings, and ability to manage my own meals. As my health issues improve I will be back on track. One day at a time. Calories on point. Working on nutrition issues. I will loose this thirty five pounds. A few have already dropped off. Gonna hit the 130s and stay there . Forever.
New week, day, or minute, each is a new oportunity for improvement. Let go of something negative and latch on to something positive. Keep at it until you get it. One day at a time. Minute by minute if needed. You can and you will get there. Envision manageable pieces of the events that will accumulate to your success.
TELL THE WHOLE TRUTH AND BE ACCOUNTABLE:
Do you believe you can do this? Do you believe you can be at your healthiest weight? Do you believe you have to settle for being less fat because you can not be slim? Do you believe that where you finally land after weight loss is reallly within your control?
Sometimes we don't believe it so we must LIVE AS THOUGH WE BELIEVE IT. Internalize what you want and how you want to live. This is how you manifest positive things in your life. Many of us are very good a manifesting our worst fears. Time to turn it around. Do this where weight loss and good health are concerned. Do this in all areas of your life.
SUCCESS COMES FROM FOCUS ON THE DESIRED OUTCOME. Look past the magical thinking to what successful people do every day. Look at those around you and not just the most fantastic stories. Our weight loss journeys are no different.
Those who succeed over a lifetime are focused on using each and every available resource to achieve their desired outcome. This drives their thougt process. When they see a tool or an obstacle, it appears to them as either a risk or an oportunity and it is treated accordingly.
We do this automatically every day in various areas of our lives. However, where weight is concerned, it is difficult for many of us to see things clearly. MINUTE BY MINUTE NOTICE THE RISKS AND OPPORTUNITIES TO YOUR HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD AND A LIFETIME AT A HEALTHY WEIGHT. Adjust your focus and use these to your advantage. You will forsee what you need as you remain focused on your desired outcome.
...All are welcome, jump in at anytime.
