Keep doing what you need to do and let the haters line up, lol.  Hating is their little red wagon so let them pull it.  It is not your problem.  Enjoy feeling the luv!

Awesome book.   I bought it hard copy & ebook.

One of the best features is it distinguishes between types of metabolism so those of us who struggle with weight loss don't feel like total failures.  Smith makes it clear that our bodies operate differently so results are tougher to come by and take us longer.
Most diet books skip this imporant piece of info & focus on the easy loosers as examples.

You have to hustle with the work outs but that's a big part of why it works.  The carb count is too high for me personally, so it sets off cravings by introducing foods I don't normally touch like whole grain hot cereals.  However, I noted that my docs recently prescribed plan looks like a lower carb version of efs.  I will be on the docs plan as soon as I can.  I would kill to see even low results per the efs diets expectations.  It still beats my post op progress rate even as a newbie.

Keep doing it MsLee plus its time for you to stay visible girlfriend.

I'm feeling like hell.  Way off plan but calories are down to the level I need.  Pushing to do better.  As I am able to handle kitchen tasks more normally my meal plans will improve.  Drpped a few pounds but barely a dent in the problem.  My jeans are kiling me but I'm most in if nothing else.

We will get there!

I would be driving about the same distance from the FL state line.  Try & make the drive.  Stop frequently for rest breaks & its a half day journey.  Not bad at all if you don't try and make it a marathon run.  Just take it easy and get there.

Much Luv MsMartitaLinda as she is    doing all that is possible to help get me there.  If I can pull this broke down body of mine together I will make it.

Sadly, its still too soon to tell but I'm hoping to be more stable over the next few days.  Fingers crossed and saying my prayers to be well enough to be there with one of my BFFs & my OH conference roomie!

I will let you know for certain in a couple of days.  Body parts are functioning better piece by piece.  We'll see...  Pray for me folks!

I am a 45y/o man, who is considered morbidly obese.  I am looking for support in my journey to lose weight and to get information about WLS in South Carolina.

I was 405lbs 3 years ago, but have had a struggle with reducing my chicken wing and Ice cream quotient.

Please Help!

I must be doing something right lol..Yes I got a hater and a very slow hater too. It finally came out "you must be feeling yourself since you lost some weight, but I liked you before when you was bigger" I'm like seriously!

I was a little thrown back at the comment and I vented with some of my other girlfriends about it. They all were like I wouldn't f** with her anymore. In my mind I think it might be beneficial to keep her in my back pocket, besides if I got haters then I might be doing something right! besides no one else said anything about me changing.

So here is my summary of it all..Was I truly a friend or was I that fat friend that made her feel good about herself when I was around. I'm started evaluating my relationship with her and keeping a close eye on any future friendships.

Topic: RE: HOLD MY FEET TO THE FIRE! ACCOUNTABILITY EVERY WEEK
I've knocked my calorie average down to the new lower number, 1100 daily average for life.  If it will get and keep me in my size zero american eagal jeans for life then I am more than willing to do this.

Right now I have issues of appetite, cravings, and ability to manage my own meals.  As my health issues improve I will be back on track.  One day at a time.  Calories on point.  Working on nutrition issues.  I will loose this thirty five pounds.  A few have already dropped off.  Gonna hit the 130s and stay there .  Forever.
