I have a choice. Tell the whole truth and be accountable. Whine, complain, ***** & moan. Carry on about issues which are neither here nor there and of no insight to anyone. Share experiences that add value as we all cope with success, falure, and stagnation. Lie and feel the shame because we all know I am lying.
Today I only want to ***** about things that impact my weight loss but serve no useful purpose, not even for myself. *****ing for its own sake is not accountability. It is not the same as admitting where I'm going wrong or how my actions differ from my true needs. Nonetheless, some of us get *****y at times and go there anyhow. That is what makes message boards good tools. One can skip the threads found useless. Plus, just occaisionally, there is a seemingly useless post that turns out to serve a purpose for someone somewhere.
Today I will not do this. It is a negative focus I do not need to engage in right now. I am unhappy. Six pounds of this weight gain is down but it is all water weight. The remaining 22 lbs of body fat concerns me as does the risk of further fat gain. I'm still not on plan: Eating poorly but keeping within calorie control. Exercise is non existant. I hate being so far off my game.
None of the why/ wherefore discussed in the past have changed so thee is no need to reha**** all. I will get my act together and drop the fat. I will get back into my lifetime "goal jeans". It may take awhile, but failure is no option.
My focus remains on success. I know the desired outcome and It is mine. I can't yet do all I need to do to help myself but I am doing the best I can do right now. As I get where I need to be, I will see better results. I am living it like I believe it because I know it will happen.
Let go of something negative and latch on to something positive then keep at it until you get it. You can and you will get there. Envision manageable pieces of the events that will accumulate to your success.
TELL THE WHOLE TRUTH AND BE ACCOUNTABLE:
Do you believe you can do this? Do you believe this process is within your control?
You cannot always force the outcome to meet your time table; however, you control the effort you put into it. Fake it when you do not feel it but get it done. One day at a time; or one hour; or one minute; or a non stop battle with each random thought. Sometimes we don't really believe in possibilities or in ourselves. This is when we must LIVE AS THOUGH WE BELIEVE IT. This is one of the few times lying to oneself can be positive.
Visualize what you want and how you want to live. Make this vision part of your daily life, real or imagined. Create the reality you want and focus on living it. Do this where weight loss and good health are concerned. Do this in all areas of your life.
SUCCESS COMES FROM FOCUS ON THE DESIRED OUTCOME. Those who succeed over a lifetime are focused on using each and every available resource to achieve their desired outcome. This drives their thougt process. When they see a tool or an obstacle, it appears to them as either a risk or an oportunity and it is treated accordingly.
MINUTE BY MINUTE NOTICE THE RISKS AND OPPORTUNITIES TO YOUR HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD AND A LIFETIME AT A HEALTHY WEIGHT. Adjust your focus and use these to your advantage. You will for see what you need as you remain focused on your desired outcome.

Not just for runners. Site has a variety of workout music and music timed to progressive running programs for 5k, 8k, 10k, and speed. In place indoors, treadmill, or at the track run to the beat and you'll complete the stated distance. There is also a variety of interval training music from about 130 bpm up to to 180 bpm; and, fixed bpm workout music as well. Lengths of tracts vary but there is a speed/ length to suit most workout needs.

This was an 8+ year decision for me. My DD whom I dragged to wls seminars grew up and had the VGB before I got the courage to have RNY. Like so many of us, I kept insisting I could do this with out wls.
There is no better or lesser option as long as you reach a healthy weight and stay there for life. Explore every option available to you. Surgical; non surgical; psychological; and treatment of eating disorders. Many of us are obese due to a complex combination of factors. We don't need to have all of the answers to loose the fat. As we loose weight and improve our health, we will learn the food related isssues we need to address as individuals. That is, if we are willing.
Please, please, please ask questions. Silly, serious, embarrrasing, whatever. Learn what you need to know. Get independent sources of information. Avoid the billion dollar weight loss snake oil industry as best possible. Learn and evaluate information in light of your life style, preferences, strenghts, and weaknessses. If you want permanant weight, loss this is a good starting point.

Well you know i'm like a roller coaster so that means as high as I was that day I can be just as low if not lower the following day or week. So far i'm still doing good but I almost let the dam scale mess that up until I realized this morning that I have to take back the two pair of jeans I bought last month because they are way to big now. So i'm still smiling no matter what that dumb ass scale says.
I'm with you on just getting out there and posting about our progress. Use Feet to the Fire: Accountability; or, start a new thread; or, add your current progress to an older thread. Post your exeperience, lend support, ask for suport. We can do this together. What is important is that we all come out and post.
Especially post when temptation strikes. Too often we fear, and rightfully so, attacks and destructive criticism. We all struggle including the fakers pretending that they are never temoted and don't take a fall now and then. What we don"t want to do is become co dependents in backwards behavior.
