I did a shake maybe once or twice. Although low carb, there are claims from tons of folks from the cites that it help them with other underlying health issues. I can tell you my energy was through the roof, and I slept like a baby. My water retention issues were resolved as well as my sweet tooth. I've read others resolved and or went dormant their issues auto immune, IBS, RA as a result of Paleo.
I just remember starting this journey and the nutritionist said that low carb would be my lifestyle if i wanted to be successful at WLS. She may have a point. I'm working my way back to Paleo.

I looked it up and Al Roker did the PhysioCleanse. The Paleo sounds a bit low carb to me which seems to be the case with many of these diets. It all boils down to low carb which I hate but I guess I better consider it. : /
I am going to check out the links you gave me and see if I can gather more information. Oh let me ask you, did you drink shakes when you were doing the Paleo?
I ate eggs and some kind of meat for breakfast , snack I would have almond milks and nuts or seeds and would have meat and veggies for lunch and dinner. I did it more 80/20. I never made it 100% and still loss. Like I said I ate cheese. I also pancakes made with almond flour and banana I brought a cookbook to help with ideas. I was never hungry. There are other desserts you can try that are paleo.
These will help you to get started and give you recipes to try.
I had a whole reply and lost it. So basically you remove grains legumes dairy alcohol starches and processed foods. You eat meat veggies fruit nuts sends and healthy fats
I'm not sure what al rocker did but this way of eating is called primal interchangeable width paleo
It looks like I may need to do the big chop again. Not a thing to lose sleep over. I'll just start all over again.
I lost about a quarter of my hair. After I looked at the reality of the situation I got my hair braided down and treated myself to a sexy ass wig. This summer I hope to unleash a newly grown afro of death. Remember the one that even your mom couldnt tear through and get some kick ass extensions.

Sandy are you talking about the Paleo cleanse that Al Roker did? and if not what Paleo are you talking about?
How long were you on it total? So you eat as you are doing it? Give me an example of your eating day.
So do you cut out foods and then drink the meal replacement?
How does the shakes taste?
What do you get in the kit?
Give me more info.
I did well on paleo. I lost 19.5 pounds in a month then i went on vacation for a week and started tasting, less exercise and you know the rest. I was at my all time low as far as weight loss. Additionally it reshaped my body -- ads were flatter, it just gave me a sleeker look and i cant explain it. Paleo + excersise is a winner. The first few days were not easy because i gave up sugar, carbs and coffee and so i had the loopy feeling for two day but on the third day i tturned the corner at after first wk i lost9 lbs and 3 to 3.5 pounds the next 3wks.
I never felt hungry. I did keep cheese in my meal plan but gave up all other dairy. I started drinking almond milk. I slept better and had a tone of energy. My skins was flawless, not hot flashes. Have such a bad sweet tooth so its been hard to recommit esp since the holidays. My body went right back to that set point when i stop doing it and im back to gaining/loosing same 10 pounds.

Dam your ACCOUNTABILITY got long as hell. I don't really have much to say. I am just discouraged and don't know what to do with myself anymore. I had lost 7 pounds but all but 2 came right back and you know they will be sending a text to those 2 telling them to come home and bring cousins and aunts and ****
So it is time to get really, really serious and think about some drastic measures now, I'll keep you posted.
