I am also experiencing the same thing but, dealing with other issues to. The damn weight just sneaks back....before I knew it, the 155 lbs I had lost turned into just an 103 WL! I have started back pretty well with my eating, but exercise....SMH...is sooooooo hard for me to get back consistently. I'm slow getting there...I know as soon as I can physically see some results, it will be on...LOL, but till then, SMH, I try my best to press on. I'm in a biggest loser contest at work and that's helping with the motivation. I also peek back in here, but it seems like a ghostown on the board now. So, I read over my profile journey and PRAY!
We did this once, so we can do it again.....AND we will have the advantage of doing it WITH all the knowledge that we now, but didn't know then.

I've heard from others who have had the same surgeon that I'm hoping to have, that he does do consultations before the info session. And I'm most fortunate in that his office in this same township where I live. Talk about blessed, huh?
The program I went through wouldn't let you schedule with the surgeon until you attended the "orientation seminar". The surgeon herself did the presentation.
She's the only surgeon in my state who performs the DS,. I was really blessed in that way, in that I only had to travel two hours from home, and I have lots of relatives in that city as well.

I had my DS in 2009 as well.
Love it, love it, love it! For the first time in my life, I can eat like anormal person, and not be stuck to a restrictive diet.
That's the primary reason I chose the DS. Obviously, if I were a good dieter, I wouldn't need the surgery!
No, not yet. I'm still in the earliest stages. Just got up the nerve to return to OH 2 days ago. I'm scheduled to attend an info session on May 6th, but I plan to schedule a consultation with the surgeon before then.
Hi Abe!
Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you. Had a death in the family, and been really busy helping my aunt. My late Dad's brother passed away.
I've lost 245 pounds with my DS. I was switched on 2/25/2009.

You should prepare your soup (delicious & packed with protein) and protein jello over the weekend if you have a busy schedule during the week.
Kaye says something like and it is so not a direct quote - YOU had your guts hacked and YOU signed up for this for life!
