ACCOUNTABILITY MISSION: NO MERCY AND NO EXCUSES 

TELL THE WHOLE TRUTH AND BE ACCOUNTABLE: 

Those ever popular WDYET as in WHAT DID YOU EAT TODAY threads get less interesting the farther out you get.  Unless you are interacting with friends you've seen enough of te same old menus.  The purpose served is accountability.  Put it out there.  No lies.  How are you really holding against our life time eating plan on a daily basis?  I have to respect that. 

Personally, I hate putting my food out there for the day.  It is almost never as planned but I stay within my goals.  I work with averages.  The numbers will never be the same every day but if I hold to a range of good nutrition I will be just fine. 

Have you given thought to yesterday's question?  To refresh your memory:  What is today's reason for doing less than you could?  We can always find something that impedes our progress.  The things that hold us back have a way of getting out attention.  Have you noticed that the means to overcome our obstacles also stand up and cheer?  Make a decision today:  Will you focus on your desired outcome or on the obstacles to success. 


TELL IT STRAIGHT PEOPLE.  That is, be straight with YOURSELF.  What are you eating?  How are you exercising?  What is working?  What needs correcting?  How are you objectively measuring your progress? 

Think about what went well and what was not so nice recently.  Consider what works for you and what is counter productive.  Make a plan.  Work your program.  Be good to yourself today.

I am deep in physical hunger with good reason but there is always an excuse to be, get, stay FAT.  Not me.  Not again.  Never again.  I'm not where I want to be but I am not going back where I was.  Eventually, I will be where I want to be.  Giving in won't get me there. 

Yesterday I did give in to it all and sucked down about 2500 calories or 1000 over my daily average as planned.  That is the equivalent of a two pound per week weight gain if I let it happen for the entire week.  Never mind that my goal is below maintenance.  You get my point. 

Today's meal planning is made.  I am cutting back.  Thre will not be a repeat of yesterday.  In the imortal words of my girl MsKim:
No Mercy and No Excuses!
