5 Minutes Protein Brownies ... to die for....
Awesome low cal absolutely DELICIOUS protein treat ... want to try something different with a scoop of chocolate protein powder? after all there are tons of things to do with protein powder besides shakes...
These awesome brownies I made in LESS than 5 minutes ... 1 minute to mix and 4 minutes to NUKE and PRESTO!!! AWESOME BROWNIES .... the whole family love these ... and I made a triple batch for work the other day ...
It is so simple ...
CHOCOLATE PROTEIN POWDER BROWNIES:
In a cup mix:
1 scoop Chocolate Protein Powder (I use Whey)
2-3 packets Splenda or sweetener of choice
pinch of nutmeg
pinch of baking powder
couple drops of vanilla extract
teaspoon of chopped walnuts or nuts of your liking
one large egg
1/8 cup of water (do not make mixture too watery)
2 tablespoons skim milk
a few drops of olive oil
mix well
pour in microwave safe square dish
nuke on high for 4 minutes ...
cut in squares
YUM!!!! very filling ... this entire plate is under 240 calories with 30g of protein and it is so filling you can eat less than a few squares in a sitting ... and have more for later....
DELICIOUS!!!!! WITH TONS OF ROOM FOR CREATIVITY!!!! CAN MAKE THE SAME MIXTURE AND ADD TO CUPCAKE/MUFFIN PAN AND DO THE SAME ...
YUM!!!!! 5 MINUTES PROTEIN BROWNIES TO DIE FOR.....
I am working my journey ... maintaining 203 pounds lost for 5 years and 6 months tomorrow ... WOOT ... 5 co-morbidities in remission ... kicked limited mobility in the butt .... I won't trade healthy for nothing ... and if I can look better too WIN.WIN!!!!
Thanks for allowing me to share ... variety and creativity goes a long long way ... I tweaked the cake shake recipe shared on here months ago by a DS-er ... and came up with an awesome treat... I invite you to try it ... if you have not tried one of your own ... I pretty sure this is nothing new under the sun...

Looks wonderful! I'd have an alternative to offer if you do not buy chocolate protein powder.
Now that I protein supplements less often I buy only unflavored or vanilla and add unsewtened cocoa for chocolate flavors. You need to mix it with the dry ingredients before adding to your recipe then increase the water to obtain the desired teture.

Please share if you try any other versions. You can so easily make protein powder recipies your very own. Brands; types of protein; prefrences for fats or none; flavoring extracts; etc, in just pinches can make the differencen between perfect for you vs perfect for someone else. Also toaster/ convection oven baking vs the microwave really changes the texture.
I happened to luv these as is but I don't buy those ingredients. When MsMartita doesn't make them for me I must improvise per my previous comments but with great results. Less of the fudge like textue of MsMartita's original but still a nice sweet treat.
