why were we overweight in the first place
Over time I just let myself go no****ching what I ate, bad genes and stress of life. I gess also I got married and be came confortable. Trying to lose weight became a task. Iy seemed no matter what I would do I only would lose 20 to 25 lbs. I pray that with the help of this surgery and a change of mind, heart, and Drive it will come off. I have learned that exercise will be a part of my life for ever
Yes........exercise will (and should be) an essential part of your everyday life. I'm not sure where you are in your wl journey, but for sure know this........ Whatever procedure is chosen, it is not an "end all" for weight issues. It's not that magic bullet that needs no assistance. It will take that drive, determination, positive attitude and a total buy-in into the program to make it work for you if you're serious about taking the weight off. You will need to exercise, take the protein, eat less, drink more water, and have an overall winning attitude.
Yes.......You will indeed need a change of mind and heart to succeed with the surgery. So start now, and keep it moving!!...........
Just my thoughts.........from a reformed lifelong loser!......

Obesity can have its roots in the physical, spiritual, emotional, and all of the above. You've made a huge leap in recognizing that this is not one dimentional. One size does not fit all. We are not a stereotype. Our issues with food and weight will vary over our life times. Congratulations in finding this important element to recovery.
