Listen to everyone above. They are right. There are times when I want to get on the scale daily and they are times the numbers fluctuate when I do. I have to remember that everything will happen when it is suppose to happen. People notice the weight loss in other areas such as the face. So relax and let go of the negative energy. Best of luck to you

You *are* doing it on your own!
Sticking to a nutrition and supplement regimen post-WLS is so much harder than dieting! Give yourself some credit!
You made what I'm sure was a very difficult decision to have WLS, and took on all that means! Whether we have RNY, DS, LapBand or whatever, each has its own set of rules that we must follow to keep losing, maintaining our weight loss and most importantly, stay healthy. If we don't do the latter, losing and maintaining mean absolutely nothing! I chose the DS, and believe me, staying healthy is a full time job with this one!
I got rather sloppy the past 6 months while my Mom was making her transition, and I'm paying for it now! Iron, multivitamin and calcium infusions every week for a month. I'm coming up on week two right now.
Nevertheless, I'm blessed to have an excellent team of doctors, and a fantastic surgeon, who are not bashful about a good old fashioned "butt-chew" if I need one! I also have other health issues to deal with that we sistas seem to get more than our share of. I have lupus and fibromyalgia. In my case, at a high weight of 405, the benefits of WLS clearly outweighed the risks, and I thank God every day for this miracle.
You are BLESSED!
