Living Gluten Free

I have and am still making changes in My Life, around food, beverages and a lot of other stuff. I have been slowly eliminating what I consider negatives from My Life. " We" all have a lot of food allergies that cause inflammation and most people are unaware of them. Gluten and wheat are major ones. I thought it would be difficult but it really is not...it is amazing how good gluten/wheat free items taste and they even have less carbs, more protein and less calories because the items are usually made from nut flour. (Domino's even have a gluten free pizza that tastes great)

I'm 2 weeks gluten and wheat free! AND so long inflammation, bloating, swelling, strange allergic reactions; and hello clarity, ankle bones, just feeling GOOD!

Anyone else gluten/wheat free?

I'm glad you found what works for you personally.  Imflamation even from "good foods" can screw your wls progress and leave you feeling less than your best.

Gluten free can make a huge difference.  Sadly much of the medical community is not on board unless you have certain genetic markers, or so I have read.  Of course no one is tested for these genetic issues unless there are significant health issues that may point to gluten as a source.

Tracking what you eat and how it effects you is a smart move.  We are often our best advocates and responsible dietary changes are generally safe and easy to experiment with.  Diet can "cure" issues that imitate diseases but are actually food intolerances as opposed to true allergies. Imflamation can show up from many sources including foods that never bothered you before.

Becca is convinced that have some food alergies that have been screwing me up for years, I just don't have the energy or inclination to really look into it.  Maybe when I get home I will make an effort to find out more about it.
