My close friend told me that I was being mean  lately. I asked her to explain. She really couldn't tell me when or what I did or said but she said that " before you had the surgery I was hoping it didn't CHANGE you". Well I told her that what got my in this the first place. People running over me, me putting everyone first except myself. Those days are over. I'm back to the old Brandy and that's putting me first and loving me. If you can't feel where I'm coming from than you're against me and if that's the case your dismissed.

I think CHANGE is good for everybody no matter what your going thru. Change is defined as to make a difference in a particular, or to give a different position, course, or direction to. This is a positive transition for me and I'm proud of myself.

I have been feeling really sexy lately and my confidant's is thru the roof. Hell I can't help myself lol.

I was ALWAYS a 'sweet spirit' with a feisty and ignoramus at times inner biatch ... BEFORE AND AFTER ...

Keep on being YOU! be assertive ALWAYS ... but kind ... Change is good! be no one's doormat ... love starts with self ... it begins on the inside and projects outside and all around...

Have and AWESOME DAY!!! keep on being the BEST YOU!!! always...

I was a doormat for years I thought if I could hold my tongue and keep the peace that everything will be okay but it wasn't. It causes depression and a whole other host of illness. Thanks for your words of encouragment and you have a great day as well..

I understand this reaction.  It hurts even more when it comes from close family members whom you love the most, and thought would be your biggest supporters.  My reply to "you've changed since you had the surgery" is...."you're right!"  I have changed!  That was the whole idea behind going through with it.  I didn't want to be the same old me.  I'm feeling damn good about myself and the way my body is changing.  You just need to make the adjustment to the new me.  I'm still that same sweet person you loved.  You need to just learn to love me where I am now!.......Deal with it!!...

Great advice!!! I was thinking to myself after I got off the phone with her was she my friend cause she thought I was someone that she could get over on. I'm starting to open my eyes and see people for how they really are. I have been friend with her for almost 3 yrs now and I feel our friendship is still fresh but at the same time she meet me when I was at my lowest and biggest weight ever.
