Month out and came to a stall....Nope I'm not sweating it! I've been reading some of OH past post about stalls. Most say that you should up your protein by 70 grams, drink 100 oz of water ( no way in hell) lol, others say that you should change up your exercise routine and I had seen a couple that say that you should eat a slice of pizza!

What is some of your advice for me. Mind you I already changed up my exercise and its hard to get more than 60 grams of protein in. I'm just a month out. I still at my same weight none loss nor gained. And heck no! I'm not eating a slice of pizza. ROTF!

You have not hit a stall luv.  This is just your body adjusting to change.  All you need to do is follow your program and manage your expectations.

The idea that post wls we all loose rapidly and steadily is simply not true.
The first 30-60 days are often rapid weight loss then you will level off and slow down.  Things like tom will impact the scale and loss may show in inches before weight.  Keep at it.

A stall has its own definition whi*****ludes calorie restriction over about six months or more.  However, the scale will still stop for a bit every now and then.  As long as you stay on program with diet and exercise you don't need to do anything else but stay normal.

If you believe something is really wrong, track your food and call your medical office.  The tracking info can help them pinpoint any problems with your adherence to plan.

Yeah I'm losing mad inches and I do see a difference in my clothes. I thought maybe I would still be seeing the numbers drop in weight at this point. But once again I'm not at all minding seeing the difference in my clothes, cause I look damn lol good!

I feel like I am at a stall too. It will be almost 30 days since my eke (4/30). Some days I get frustrated cuz I'm have to make myself eat cuz I'm not hungry. I just don't understand why the scale is not moving.

I never thought I would have to force feed myself lol. I skipped a meal one time and was sick to my stomach. I even noticed if I don't eat at a curtain time I'll get sick. I know the scale will eventually move. Hopefully soon:)

You follow your program and do not get distracted by what works for tom, dick or harry ... it is the easiest way to get confused and lose tract of 'YOUR' plan... your journey.... Stalls are normal ... the body has to adjust itself to a rapid bout of weigh loss ... it takes a pause and then you start losing again as long as you stick to your program and know your body needs it will work.  Stay hydrated ... keep your protein levels at those indicated for you by your program ... My protein needs may be much different to yours ... BTW I have been doing 80g of protein daily and it works for me ... it was recommended by my medical practitioner and it works for me .. my friend going to the same doctor is on 100g of protein daily so it varies...

Stick to your plan... the weight WILL come off.... JOURNAL your intake ... ALL OF IT and do not be afraid of the scale ... face your journey head on LOL.... that is my motto...

You will do fine ... it took FOR-ever it seemed from me to go from 202 pounds to 199 ... but it happened ... and that was eons ago it seems ...

Wishing you nothing but the best on your journey!!!

Thanks Martitalinda, I am sticking to the original plan that my Dr setup for me and really I don't have a desire to even stir off the grid. My taste buds changed so everything that I liked before I don't seem to like. lol I'm sure my body will get back on track. Thanks for you advice.
